As others have pointed out, something strange is holding this back, not sure what it is, the management team have about as much charisma as two week old Christmas turkey, there is no 'energetic' news about the company in the financial media, it just seems like it is waiting to belly up and die.

I have lost any faith I had in this company. The constant beating of the M&A drum is just not encouraging either.

IAG had a management team as well put together as RR.

As LTH, this stock is really starting to suck. I think I may bail 50% tomorrow and park it elsewhere. For me, having this much in a company is now just not worth the ROI. I may buy more RR, as everyone needs engines, not everyone needs to fly BA!

No1, that is the core problem. 55% of stock is owned by private individuals, 24% by Qatar and the rest is made up of institutional investors, that's pretty poor.

Hence why this sp never goes anywhere, us individual private investors only have so much money to spend. If and when that dynamic changes we may see a significant rise.

I cannot remember why right now, but I know it had something to do with an agreement with the Spanish government. If fact I want to say prior to that, if you bought IAG PLC stock there was no stamp duty.

Irrespective, they are interlinked and so is the UK when it comes to IAG Plc, so what happens in the UK directly affects the sp.

IAG Plc is an 'oversees' company that trades on the LSE, I think because IAG corp HQ is in London, even though IAG is a Spanish registered company, must be a throwback to the BA days.

Peteret, that's not how that works. IAG PLC is traded in the UK, IAG EU is traded in Spain, so it will be affected unfortunately. As when some crap happens in the US, it hits us too.

So, it seems to me that we cannot agree on 'clown of the year'.

Might I suggest a 'wide single tier' COTY, in order that we may nominate several to take that top place podium.

I think many deserve that top spot and if we only give it to one clown, then by default, we are saying the others aren't as bad and we all know they all suck.

The problem is, when you verbalise that 'share holders' are 4th or 5th on their list of priorities , it shows that they could not give a t0ss about their investors.

Not sure they can survive without outside investment.

Even if you don't prioritise investors, only a complete moron says that out loud. Anyone thinking of investing and saw that, will no longer be thinking about investing, they've gone.

All the CEO's I've seen speak, always talk about returns and 'thinking' about investors. FFS. CEO and CFO need to jump off.
