Hello bobbins, it's been a rough three years to say the least.

I suspect I may have to go with my initial thoughts about 'writing off' this whole decade and hope that a meteorite finishes us off that they keep promising will hit. Much like the ever rising sea levels that by now should have covered the Eiffel Tower.

Anyway, as either scenario looks more appealing than the man made version of destruction that dozy Joe and his Neocons are advocating for and funding right now I know my recent teeth grinding will only get worse.

IAG don't care about the majority of their shareholders, as the majority are retail holders, minnows.

For that reason I don't see dividends returning for a quite some time.

Mararab, buying up smaller airlines will not increase growth or revenues, if those airlines are running at a loss or have large debts that need servicing. Otherwise a profitable business burns all it's profits keeping the other afloat.

As for BA being competitive, I think they are doing what other companies did after lockdowns, trying to claw back what profits they lost out on during the no fly period.

As you rightly pointed out, why would anyone use them at this point?

£200 difference on a flight per seat for a family of four is a decent savings...
