TBH, I think it's a lose-lose, situation for the majority of the UK if any of these two clowns get or stay in control.

As for here, ahem, this government is efficient, actually not so much the government, more the Cantons (counties) The government are full of dodgy people, doing same as any country. There is a thin veneer of 'proper', but they take bribes, don't listen to public opinion and makes crazy outside influenced decisions.

And of course we are the home to some very nefarious organisations like WHO, BIS and WEF and Herr Klaus Schwab. Also, you do not need a Swiss passport to live here, just a job and a mutual agreement for free movement, which the UK has.

It over inflates it's currency and it has to have a stock market that is doing well, as nearly everyone's pensions in the US is stock-market based. Once BRICS takes a foot hold, that will shutter the USD, and not a moment too soon.

The Chinese are already cashing out their US held properties.

As you mentioned, this sp is literally circling the drain, it might get flushed or go up.

Anyway, as you say, Spring is around the corner, not sure which corner, but it is there. Anyway, wishing you well for the new year and take care, especially if you go ice fishing if the lake is frozen.

One other point, this sp was higher at the height of the pandemic, when there were NO passengers flying, planes grounded. No passenger numbers, pilots laid off, ground staff laid off. You see my point?

The numbers mean nothing because the numbers relate to ALL flights, not just IAG.

So unless those numbers relate specifically to IAG, it means nothing.

And above all, if they did, why is the sp stuck at these low levels?

So, I stand by what I said. institutions are not rushing out to fill their boots with travel stocks.

Bobbins, sorry mate, I know you enjoy a good swinefest, however, I feel it unbecoming to call this a 'dog' of a share, as dogs tend to be hard-working and loyal, the opposite of said swine.

DB, same here, although I did buy back in RR @2.09, and again a few weeks back after selling about 50k shares of this pig share. As expected I am in decent profit with my RR holdings, not so much with IAG and looking how it is dropping below the 150 mark daily, for it to reach last year's high, this would need to gain 20%. I just don't think this little engine has it in it to do that. So will hang on for a few more weeks until results, see where we are and may end up selling all of IAG.

That's my view, not looking to influence anyone else. Just a rant from a extremely frustrated investor.
