They need a huge cash reserve to pay for leases that I assume do not show as 'debt'. As they are not owned, it merely becomes a expenditure/cost of doing business.

As for Putin, what he does in his country has never had an impact on my life until 2022 when he went walkabout. Most conflict never affect us as they tend to be border to border conflicts. It's when one country decides to travel 6000+ miles to another country and start s*** that it affects everyone else.

As for stock holdings, that has nothing to do with anything. I had funds in the UK so I bought UK stocks, just like I own Swiss stocks and US stocks. I tend not to move money out of country unless I have to, it attracts the wrong kind of interest.

I'm not sure I know enough about his exact cause of death to make an informed opinion.

Putin has no problems making people disappear, but in this case it served him better to not get rid of him and thus serve as a constant warning to others. He may well have succumbed to his illness and so left to die. Could have been the admin where he was locked up, they may have let it happen, without even Putin knowing, either to 'help' Putin or hurt him, no one will really know.

As for the Western media propaganda, well we all know who controls them.

Sund, sorry bud, but I have to vehemently disagree with your analysis. This is one of those dog shares that has been shoved to one side.

There are always excuse. CPI data, interest rates, employment data, risk on, risk off, every month the same thing. This sp has the 'knee on the throat' treatment. There is no reason for this to flounder and then continually sink. It has more positives yet it still sinks.

There could be something going on that is pushing this to a very low valuation point to enable either a takeover or take it private. But am probably wrong on that. Would like to know if Qatar has decreased it's share holding.

The issue with taking on another company is that you also take on their debt, their pension obligations, their regional redundancy policy, their complete employee obligations. This never straight forward, there will inevitably be hidden issues that suddenly rise after the acquisition.

Stick with the 20%, if they do well, have no debt and become really profitable then by default you win and maybe then consider the outright takeover, even if the cost is higher, as then the returns may be higher too. Just my view.

Have a look at the S&P 500, has hit record highs, up 22% in a year and the FTSE100 down 4% in the same period.

I have to question why any company still lists on the FTSE, I also know that the US markets is all smoke and mirrors to push the big lie to the public, but most are not feeling the love from the stock market.
