For me, 3.5 + years already. It's actually lost sp value in that time. I just keep averaging down otherwise my average would be @1.80 if kept my initial investment as is.

Maybe not even that, judging but the lacklustre of today's range...

Sund, yes they have spare cash, but they will be under pressure to pay off debt, not reinstate divis. Majority share holders are like you and I, not big institutions, they could care less about us, the plankton.

Sund, please share your source on a possible dividend returning, or is this just part of your daily ramp? Because nothing worse than a disingenuous ramper. I know you like to ramp and I'm okay with that, but speculating just for the sake is not ok.

NuckyT, as Sund pointed out, they have a cash holding of about 12b Euros, but yes debt is one issue, it is almost the same amount as their market cap.

Letsi, for the simple fact that to who those numbers matter, they are just not invested in IAG, it's 66% retail investors and we don't count.

Unless we have a 'Reddit' event seen by AMC, this stock is not really moving up for a long time. The 2020 highs of 220ish will not be seen again for a number of years.

There needs to be a catalyst, a 'Hunger Games' like speech from a CEO to potential institutional investors, but our current CEO is about as enthralling as two week old stale pot noodle.

No major impact as France has already rolled that out. However, knowing how the stock markets like to 'knee-jerk' any news, who knows?

It's all green washing. Very few train stations run the same destinations as airports, they can be close but that is not common.

Like you, I am in RR too, made out like a bandit so far, and happy to keep it in for a a while longer. I have a financial agenda or rather a obligation that I have committed to for a family member. So will use the profits form IAG and RR to complete that.

Anyway, you are right, there is a certain element that think like far-right extremists, as 'if you are not with us then you must be against us' mentality. But, whatever!

As for this coming week, not sure how the market will play out. IAG has way too many retail investors to do much. The CEO of IAG is much like the CEO of THG, has his head buried up his wahoo and does nothing. SP does not reflect his pay, so could care less, he gets his bonus as long as the business is doing well, which it is. The issue is that IAG does not attract investment companies for pensions etc.

I'm glad I got back in with RR when it was just under 2.00, then dumped a good chunk of IAG to buy more.

Still have way too much IAG and will not sell until year end results then liquidate and get back into BP or more RR

There are other companies that would do better as an investment. A lot on here, including myself thought this was a decent stock, unfortunately we may have been wrong.

Do your research before you buy in, expect low return, no divi and then look else where, even companies with divi at least give you something for your investment.
