Mararab, I agree. Companies are doing 'Teams' meetings, there is also a 'fatigue' within those that like to travel but right now 'just can't be bothered'.

My better half used to travel from East to West and West to East, loved it, now not even close to wanting to get on a plane for business. Covid pushed people into an alternative way of life and many are just happy to continue in that fashion.

Most I know now travel 'premium economy' (or something like that) but if you travel business for business, makes no difference to the traveller, the company foots the bill.

This is just all smoke and mirrors by a vastly underperforming government.

Mararab, I actually don't care anymore, it was about 175-180. But as I only have 60% of my original holding I feel more relaxed about it.

I have the balance spread in other stocks again, BP, RR, both of which are well over 40% profit right (60% for RR.)

I will probably still get out of IAG this year, I have a family commitment that needs seeing through with the funds.

good for you bud. I do not blame you. I too sold a over 50% of mine between last week and yesterday. Bought more RR.

I'm still in profit with IAG, but TBH, I'm reaching the end of my patience with this.

No confidence in this share from the market.

FeachNews, nah, someone dumped 450'000 shares, I personally dumped another 20k this morning, then it dropped even more. Glad now I'm only holding less than half I held a week ago.

Don't worry, in about 5-10 years most would be a breakeven, some may even be in profit with this sp.

MGM, I would not worry about Canary Wharf, I would be more worried about how much of the NHS is owned and operated by the US insurance companies... look into that.

Hi Skindle, not gone yet bud, still have just over 100k shares in this. Being somewhat stubborn I have retained those otherwise I would have to admit defeat and I can not do that. For now.

At least I worry less now.

The markets have zero confidence in IAG, luckily I sold 50k this morning before the drop and ploughed the funds into RR.

So, I'm not so worried about the constant daily drops of this share, it seems one day, many many years from now, it could be worth something... or not.

And end up another 'THG', circling the drain ready to be flushed.

During the last 3/4 years we have always got two 'peaks' in the SP, once at results and one more during the summer (July). This year we did not get the results peak, so, either we will have a really good summer 'peak' or that will also fall flat.

Behaveen, not sure what you deem as 'short term', but I've held this stock for nearly 3.5 years and it has done nothing but drop.

That kind of puts me squarely in the mid-long term.

Y-O-Y this is 4%+ down. not sure why you would think going forward it would rise. I would be interested to know.

I want this to rise and now I feel some what trapped with capital in a stock that cannot buy other more fruitful stock that have now pushed past and almost doubled in price over that same period.

Sund, they will not return dividends this year, they have a pension obligation. The big boys like a dividend and as there are virtually a minority of 'big boys' in this share, they have no interest to appease us retail investors who make up the majority.

Callego gets his bonus, the other directors get their bonus's and stock options along with stock rewards etc.

Only regret I have is I did not sell more to buy RR last month. Been in RR for just over 2 months (again) and already up 55% on my investment.

The amount of tranches you have bought must be worth in the multiple of millions by now. Stop it, seek help.

Big investors switch off when they hear that. ESG bs, looks like BlackRock has IAG by the b4lls on this.

Any company that pushes the ESG and sustainability agenda pays for it.

No one cares about sustainability in the business world, that is for the minions to worry about.
