I think that is because some very senior pilots (15+years in the game) in the US earn $400k p/a.

Not sure any UK or European pilots would earn that, or could earn that, our domestic travel is limited and shared amongst many airlines.

But, think about the actual number of pilots that may qualify for that pay rise, very small, so in real world terms hardly a dent. Don't get too worked up by the media, they lie... constantly.

But they can speak more than one language, so you get angry as they have 'taken over your country'? They are not asking you t o speak their language, they will speak in English to you, but in Urdu or Punjabi amongst themselves.

I speak English with my family, but when out and about I speak German, I don't ask anyone to speak English with me, unless they feel they want to, but no one gets offended that I speak English...
