I hope that does not happen otherwise this conflict will escalate beyond borders and control.

But as long as there is vast amounts of money to be made, there will always be corruption, that is on everyone's side.

As for this stock, nothing happening here as you pointed out, although late yesterday afternoon the US travel sector saw a rise so maybe we get that next week?

Are you really astounded, I think you probably feel they cannot reach any lower but they surpass their last low level.

If it makes you feel any better, the Swiss government are not that far behind. They bow to outside pressure too that makes no sense. ESG, Environmental, Social and Governance.

Basically virtue signalling equivalent to 'affirmative action' from the 90's, whereby companies would hire to meet diversity quotas.

Telling every one how wonderful they are.

What has been happening recently is fund managers have been pulling money from companies that have not got ESG stamped. BP did not get that, yet has been pulling £billions of profit, so pensions have been put at risk of lower performance and therefore lower payout because fund managers want to join some virtue signalling club.

Instead of doing their job, which is to make investors money.

As much as I am not a fan of Tesla, they got kicked off the ESG list, apparently because a few people complained that they were not promoted because they were black... If Tesla got kicked off, tells you all you need to know about the ESG BS.

This sp can barely pull up it's pants up to 1.60, then has trouble holding it up.

To reach 2.00 by the end of the year would mean a 28% hike from this price.

That, is never going to happen.

Q1 results netted no rise, Q2 results would probably do the same. Q3 may tickle it to the 1.70's, maybe. Then down again as the US eats itself, funding multiple oversea's 'adventures'.

ESG is the biggest killer of the stock market, it has done nothing to help any sp, BP did the right thing and said no.

DB, I kind of agree, more for the fact that they want to win the next election, however, most Republicans do not want to raise the debt ceiling. So they (Reps) will be in the corner with their back up against it.

This will come down to a bit of shuffling back and forth and if they concede, Biden will take that as a win for his party, problem is, a win now means the Republicans have a massive debt going into their term should they win.

Why is it that the most powerful country with the biggest economy, the best brains, talent etc, cannot get their shyte together?

Skindle, ev's have their space and uses. Reason I don't like EV's is very simple, just made a round trip to the Algarve, with family. Took 23hrs each way, 2400kms.

First day 1400kms, just under 14hours, 1 fuel stop. Second rest of leg, again one more fuel stop.

Did the same on the return leg.

Could have done it in an EV, would have taken 13 charge stops each at 25-35 mins. Average mileage between charging would have been 210km (trying to run an average of 130kph). Assuming all charge stations were operating and no waiting.

Yes we own an EV too, just not a Tesla.

Just because you invest in something does not mean you have to love it. That was t he old way of doing things, the new way is just to make money.. if you can.

I bought into Apple, made some money and dumped it. I would never buy an Apple product. Same with Tesla, made a shed load in 2020, would never touch a Tesla as a mode of transportation.
