RE: Loam15 Mar 2023 15:27
Brian will be be put into an advisory role and Mike will come back.
Then after he makes loads of money for the board of directors and little progress for the business, they'll rotate again. Rinse and repeat.
I was hoping they had something to offset the trial disappointment against, but it appears not.
I'm encouraged by LOAM increasing their holding though.
I think current falls are due to wider market carnage more than anything else.
It makes me nervous for Nanoco because there's no rationale.
They have £6m cash, an incoming £69m, a production facility worth at least £10m, a sensing business with STM and lots of IP, which is difficult to value, but as others have stated maybe the 2D materials IP is worth more. So how Nanoco can be valued at £69m is beyond me.
The only thing we can definitely hope for or 'look forward to' is some progress with STM, but we know that's not close to full-scale production.
I'm hoping for a cyclical upward correction in the share price to better reflect the value of what Nanoco currently have.
My money's now on a formal sale process with the eventual sale for around £100m - 31p.
