Who is offloading big time?
Amati had enough last year. Understandably so having held from prices above £1, but they last reported at 1.24% in December, so are done.
There's no evidence of anybody offloading and in fact, after that you'll see another II bought in.
Nobody, including me, can hide the fact that the company has had disappointment with their Vascular 510k application process, but they're in a much better position than ever before now. They hit 160p on the expectation that a formal 510k application was imminent and then pushed it back because they realised it needed a lot more work.
The resulting impact was a panic in the market and a placing at 11p.
Now with cash for 4 years and commercial partnership secured, I see absolutely no reason why the company shouldn't return to the same levels. They have never had commercial backing before and been so close to commercialisation.
