anybody else having problems??

Have we got till the 11th February for things to be sorted or we lose everything?? 11 August 2014 African Eagle Resources plc ("African Eagle" or the "Company") Notification of Temporary Suspension African Eagle, the investing company that is seeking opportunities within the natural resources, infrastructure and services sectors, announces that, in accordance with Rule 15 of the AIM Rules for Companies ("AIM Rules"), the Company's shares will today be suspended from trading on AIM and AltX from 7.30 a.m. London time as a result of the Company not having completed an acquisition or acquisitions which constitute a reverse takeover under the AIM Rules, or otherwise implemented its investing policy (which was approved by shareholders at a general meeting) in accordance with Rule 15 within twelve months of becoming an investing company. The Company continues to actively work towards implementing its investing policy in accordance with Rule 15 and will keep shareholders informed of developments in accordance with the AIM Rules. In the event that the Company is unable to implement its investing policy within the next six months admission of the Company's shares will be cancelled.

hi Photomic1962, i bought some shares in AFE and have tried to sell them but i've been told they have been delisted, can you shed any light on the situation for me?

Thanks MA03, it seems things are in the dark due to special divdend and when youll be entitled to it, maybe its just me but cant find anything concrete

wow quite here, anybody know when the next ex-dividend is?

Cool, i like to spread bet and know that if you go long on a Tuesday on the FTSE and there's a dividend to be paid i get one, tomorrow we'll be looking at drop then but not sure how many points (double digits???)

Sorry i'm a bit of a novice when it comes to shares etc and having held these since floatation in 2006 I should know better. Am i right in thinking you have to holding the shares tonight, the day before ex-dividend day to get the dividend?

so where does everybody think the price will stop today? I'm pretty sure, but could be wrong, that the close of play price today is what's used for DRIP calculation???

not heard any romours of "special dividend" i'm assuming not going to happen again?

between 08:00 - 08:05 it dropped 31.6 points!!!! that seems crazy when the headline says "standlife life profit lifted" was watching it via city index spread trading site but did nothing as it happened so quickly.............

So what does everybody think, any rumours about another "special dividend" to push up the SP? Thinking of taking a long punt at around 370............

I've just looked at my last DRIP and it works out nearly to the penny that whatever the price is on the closing day before the payment is what is used, lets hope the price drops if thts the case then bounce back up again the following day........
