It is good to have seen the change of strategy by western countries in the past 9 months as governments have realised that face masks actually do play an important role in preventing the spread of Covid-19. Many countries now have laws to enforce wearing face masks in public places. Each time a vaccine is announced - a clear message is sent that face masks are still essential even when vaccinations are given. Hopefully investors investing into RMS are aware of this as the demand for anti-viral face masks will be huge going into 2021.
After Covid-19 has passed - these anti-viral face masks will still be very useful in preventing other viruses from spreading such as flu. I can see anti-viral face masks eventually becoming the new gold-standard used in hospitals as the cost of manufacturing decreases with massive scaling up. The key will be for Pharm2farm to partner up with other face mask manufacturers and license their technology out.

Morning all,
Anyone investing into RMS definitely needs to listen to the below interview from yesterday to understand the background and coming events for P2F on the face masks project. Very positive and brilliant scientist with a good heart.

Personally think that traders who actually do some research will realise that RMS are actually worth investing in as a long term hold. Acquisition of P2F was why I jumped in but Gyrometrics (also a spin-off from the same university that Gareth is at) also has a lot of innovative and disruptive tech that should begin to bear fruit next year. Take a look at below interview to learn more about Gyrometrics.

Coronavirus could potentially leap to other animals, such as rats, mice, ferrets and voles, as well as mink, an expert has warned.
The virus could then "come back in future years into the human population", said Sir Jeremy Farrar, director of the Wellcome Trust.
His comments came amid new warnings about the virus's evolution in mink.
The European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control said mink-to-human transmission could occur.
And continued spread of coronavirus (Sars-CoV-2) in mink farms may eventually give rise to other mutated forms, or variants, "of concern".
Further assessment was needed to assess whether mutated forms of the virus might hinder the effectiveness of treatments or vaccines, a new report concluded.

Chinese researchers found the frequency of genetic changes varied from one child to another and did not appear to follow a coherent pattern
Samples taken from one child in study found the virus had mutated in just one day

Gareth doesn't control the share price (buyers/sellers) but he does control what happens in P2F. Based on their pro-active approach to ensure that the anti-viral face masks are manufactured asap to serve the immediate global need - this gives huge confidence to hold for short and long term especially considering face masks is just a side project.
"To fulfil part of the anticipated excess demand, P2F expects to supply its patented filter material, initially, to certain partner mask manufacturers, until P2F has itself procured additional production lines.
Over the weekend P2F signed binding heads of terms with a manufacturer of surgical masks in Germany. The German manufacturer will subcontract to supply complete masks to P2F to the P2F specification and brand name, and also purchase P2F filter material for their own brand masks. Under the heads of terms the manufacturer will also develop and supply anti-viral C-Fold masks using P2F filter material to extend P2F's market reach. The heads of terms are subject to final contractual agreement between the parties."

For genuine holders - this is a good opportunity to add to your holding. Ignore all the noise and focus on the company - it's assets and prospects.
Just remember that the nano tech being applied to face masks is just one commercial application. There are a lot of other opportunities that P2F will be taking to improve the world such as significantly improving the quality and yield of crops and medical applications. Gareth is a very smart guy and I'm really excited to see all the future inventions coming out of P2F.
Gyrometrics is another company that RMS holds which will start to bear fruit next year if they can prove that their innovative technology works in the wind sector to remotely monitor wind turbines. With a huge focus on green energy and safety - this company is well also positioned to capture the coming opportunities.

Gyrometric Systems and Pharm2Farm are both highly innovative companies that spun out of Nottingham Trent University. Both companies have invented highly innovative technology that will improve the world we live in and are scalable in lots of different sectors.
Also looking forward to news about commercialising this invention..
https://gyrometric.systems/patent-granted-july-2020/
Gyrometric has the world’s leading technology for measuring radial run out, radial vibration, torsional vibration and torque in rotating shafts. The technology is entirely digital and stable over time.
To add to that capability an entirely new methodology has been invented inside the company for measuring axial displacement (the direction along the rotating shaft). The specification for the development included that the measurements had to be stable over time, to the same level as the company’s other measurement systems.
This requirement was difficult to reach because analogue inductive proximity measurement sensors require initial calibration, and subsequent re-calibration to correct for changes in temperature and “drift”. This has been achieved by incorporating automatic re-calibration every revolution of the shaft.
The invention has now been granted a patent.
Adding to Gyrometric’s already powerful pallet of measurement systems for parameters of rotating shafts the new development enables monitoring systems for ships drives, wind turbines and other industrial mechanisms to be even more effective in reducing running costs for clients operating capital equipment.
Looking forward to news on Gyrometric Systems relating to their new single sensor torsional vibration monitor (TVM). RNS on 16th Sep 2020 mentioned the below with a key point of "We will now commence the search for a commercial manufacturing partner capable of world-wide marketing and sales".
Gyrometric Systems has successfully demonstrated proof of concept for a new single sensor torsional vibration monitor ("TVM").
TVM is a digital, portable contactless device. Being digital we believe, this device is more accurate than anything else currently available and because it is contactless it can be used without removing a mesh safety guard making it easier to use.
John Richardson, Gyrometric CEO said "TVM is an important new application of the Gyrometric technology, demonstrating the capability to detect torsional vibrations quickly from an easy to use portable device. Torsional vibrations can indicate changes within a drive train which could lead to expensive down-time or catastrophic failure. We will now commence the search for a commercial manufacturing partner capable of world-wide marketing and sales"

Good article which summarises the benefits of the face masks...
www.nottinghampost.com/news/nottingham-news/nottingham-scientist-develops-antiviral-face-4693922
"The masks are expected to go into production in Nottingham later this month and will be commercially available from December for healthcare, transport and food service settings initially.
They are now being produced by NTU spin out company Pharm2Farm, founded by Dr Cave, in Nottingham’s BioCity.
Instead of the usual three-ply design, the five-ply surgical mask includes an additional antiviral inner layer which incorporates nano-copper created using a patented process developed at the university.
Because they are spherical, nanoparticles have a large surface area making the approach more effective at killing the virus. The antiviral inner layer ensures additional protection for both the wearer and those in proximity.
The masks can be pre-ordered on the Pharm2Farm website where they are available for purchase in bulk at £1 per mask. However, minimum orders start at £10,000."
Good to see P2F are starting to market this as they are gearing up for production.
