We have a CEO and CFO, drawing around £330k in salaries per year and collectively have 1.3m shares now worth pennies under £10k.
Cheesey but relevant Gordon Gekko quote "management have no stake in the company"
Does anybody think they care about the shareholders?
PS is the Operations Director still working from Spain?
I agree foolsgold, the red flag which I should of taken more notice was in a interview a couple of months ago. She mentioned that companies come and go its the people that are important. However its not just CC to blame the CFO has been pocketing around £165k a year, WTF has he been doing?
She must be frustrated that her stake in company, has dropped to £2600.
Aimtrader1, I agree with you. I have not sold any today, heart breaking to see the drop and held off from buying. I can see an offer of around 4p in a months time, once we have pasted last years peak so regulators won't look to far into a sale. Don't forget this is a brand that has has millions thrown at and is ready to well in the right hands.
No Dontgiveup, she has not mislead shareholders. Cheryl and Tim are both out of their depths. I mean WTF employees a HR Director for 30 odd employees? Don't even get me started about the 30K for Moonpig Boy!!!
Is there a rule about take-over offers and the SP peak over the last 12 months?

I know the above 2 were buys ;) today the spread really narrowed, for the last week someone has been hoovering up anything at 1.6p. Even absorbing the 250k's that have been offloaded, which I thought would send us further down.
A National Sales Manager is a step in the right direction. Geeman why don't you offer your services as a consultant or a position on the the board?
Can they trigger options at anytime I.e before an update? It won't make much of a difference, but would show confidence.
I don't have a problem, with paying staff what they are worth and giving them perks. However what will the staff expect if we ever make a profit, given what they already receive when we are making a loss and burning through cash. Sorry for the rant. I had to get it off my chest as reading the 2021 Annual Report wasn't an easy read, especially with the lockdowns we should of taken full advantage. GLA and I will shut up for now.
I still don't comprehend why we are chasing rainbows in other countries when we can't get your own country in order.
All these questions should of been put forward at the AGM, but I personally feel they wanted it to quietly pass without to much resistance.
Hi Geeman,
The trouble is, it sounds paradise working at EVE.

I know most of the postings were under Moonpig boys watch, but it raises questions wether the unorganised day to day running is still rife.
Tim Parfitt & Cheryl Calverley combined took over £300K in salaries last year and both have fewer shares than me. Who else thinks we may be a little top heavy with a current mcap of £4.4m? Why does there seem to be no communication to the shareholders and no appetite to encourage new investors?
Dontgiveup, EVE will be buying direct from the manufacturer at a significantly low price. They like other companies in the same sector will artificially inflate RRP then discount it, to look like a bargain. I wouldn't be surprised, especially with ancillaries that at a 50-60% off the RRP, they still make 100% profit excluding expenses (i.e overheads, free delivery etc).
Hi DG, the way I understood it, 30K is a retainer and excludes any consultancy fees. He did not exactly prove himself, when he sailed the ship.
As for CC, she maybe a marketing genius but as as a CEO the MCAP shows how well she is performing.
Never mind the pillows Dontgiveup, I want to know why we are still paying Moonpig Boy 30k a year with 1p options?
