Re Facebook group and social media dialogue - I remember back in January - March multiple noises saying the MDA was as good as signed and then suddenly changes of laws and radio silence. I do think it's positive to see, but I am hugely sceptical of anything other than and RNS from Mkango or a press release from the ministry of mining stipulating it's actually signed. "Vry Soon" was said in March ~ 5 months ago, so now they say it again I'm a little more cautious to believe them. Would love to be pleasantly surprised next week though

At the risk of being labeled a FUD merchant, I do worry that so much momentum has been lost that even these news events will just see a quick rise followed by heavy selling. No matter how good the news. Alway happy to have my fears allayed though!

I tend to agree Silvermaple. Needs some actual news. Not just a recap of past events. MDA, off take agreements and recycling plants commissioning are game changers... but when will they arrive? Waiting game has been tedious for a long time

As a side note, I was re-watching the recent presentation again and noticed some fine print on one of the slides.

On the slide at 14.45 they have written at the bottom:

"Under the mines and minerals act of Malawi, the government of Malawi is entitled to a 10% free carried interest in the songwe project".

Is this standard, and am I late to the party on this? Seems a bit random to put that as the only piece of fine print on the slide.

Thanks Bonker. I have been hearing china have ramped up rare earth exports but I can't remember where. Hopefully we are at the bottom of the Neodymium price and it starts the climb again!

Out of interest, would the DFS NPV of $559million USD is significantly impacted by the 40% drop in Neodymium price since the start of the year?

The DFS was released when the market price for Neodymium was over double what it is now.

I assume they use a 5 year average Neodymium price (or other method) to calculate the NPV of songwe?

Any thoughts on this or Neodymium price outlook?
