I do remember when Visit Timor spoke to IFK on this board. Secretly of course. The purpose of which was to bring the narrative back to VT when posters had changed the subject. I thought this was insulting and devious. Then after a rethink, I actually felt sorry for him. This is strange behaviour and clearly obsessive. Now, I don’t care and just let it go. I’m more interested in the content of the posts. Bizarre behaviour is not my problem.

I agree, Eddie. Problem is I have a tendency to personalise anonymous accounts getting agitated with thoughts of crazy narcissism connected to someone I’ll never know. Pointless considering it’s virtual and there’s plenty of real life to wrestle with. The filter button is a life saver as is just seeing this for what it is. A bulletin board. Nothing more.

Eddie, I’ve felt exactly the same in the past. Discovered it’s an unpopular and lonely route to go down. So, I just chill and concentrate on useful and informative posts. This share price. Inpex who are currently employing the rig are not drilling for oil or gas. It’s a carbon capture study.

Have to confess, that empire won’t be built in a day and I for one have waited too long and am too old for empire building. Chuditch success. Increased interest in the company with subsequent boost to share price in the near term suits me fine.

I had forgotten AB’s role as non executive director at RH Petrogas. Might well see an inside opportunity with Chuditch.

Timor-Leste participated in the 42nd ASEAN Ministers on Energy Meeting (AMEM) and the 18th East Asia Summit Energy Ministers Meeting (EAS EMM), held from 26-27 September in Vientiane, Laos. His Excellency Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Francisco da Costa Monteiro, and the President of the National Petroleum Authority (ANP), Gualdino do Carmo da Silva, represented Timor-Leste.

Minister Monteiro emphasized Timor-Leste's commitment to maximizing its renewable and non-renewable energy resources as part of the country's broader development strategy. He reiterated the importance of ensuring energy security through the continued exploration of hydrocarbon resources, the development of the Timor-Leste LNG facility, and the investment in renewable energy sources, such as solar, wind, hydropower and others. Minister Monteiro also highlighted Timor-Leste's efforts toward decarbonization of energy development through initiatives like the Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) project at the Bayu-Undan reservoir.

Hopefully we can have the 247 booked and ready for a drill early in 2025. We need first an environmental plan approved well in advance of any drill.

Currently Inpex is using the Valaris 247 jackup rig, which arrived in Australia after a long journey from the UK. The 400-ft rig began drilling the West Peron 1 exploration well on 25th July in the Bonaparte Basin, offshore Australia. Inpex outlines that the drilling and evaluation activities for the initial exploration drilling campaign are expected to last for about 150 days.

[150 days, takes us to approximately the end of December. The rig would then be towed about 400km to Chuditch].

Always a gamble. Just noticed the share price. It’s certainly not hanging around. Be interesting to see if we can get a bounce back from here. A few worrying signs for sure.

OK. I think in the midst of all this gloom and waiting, it’s useful to be reminded of the PLNG involvement. It’s important and the market basically ignores it. It’s easy to forget just how close we are to a stonking great news announcement. Hardly a trade being made.
