That’s outrageous nonsense. I don’t control this forum and have been critical of the company in the past. You are accusing the CEO of trying to hoodwink shareholders with fake optimism in his interviews and being less than honest. That’s a pretty damning thing to say.

Jelly, you can have concerns about the share price, about the funding delay without trashing the company and accusing the management of dirty tricks. You clearly hate this company and your posts must be designed to lower the share price. As a shareholder yourself, that’s bizarre behaviour. Most of us still believe Sunda will deliver and if it fails, they did their best, we took a bet and got it wrong. No lies. No subterfuge. Just a risky share that hit a wall.

Totally agree Howey. Could use some clarity. I’m not sure a complex arrangement is necessarily better. Where did those carve up potential partnerships with experience in gas development go? Fall through or not required? Incredibly vague.

Look. I like AB.But you break this cycle of interviews, it suggests he’s uncomfortable and is actually less positive. It’s optics. It’s PR. Repeating his positive position when there is clear anxiety around would be well worth it.

AB should be running a new Proactive interview. Displaying confidence and leadership and reassuring shareholders and the market.

I like the sound of it. Makes me think an interview to flesh out the RNS would have made sense. Why not say, “we continue to work on a funding package which is now broader in scope than originally planned and consequently lengthier in nature but which is progressing in line with expectations” Keep the punters happy without compromising anything confidential.

Eddie, I think you might mean PLNG moving to a more prominent role in the funding of not just the appraisal well but future commercial exploitation of the field. Certainly the other companies previously mentioned have somehow disappeared. I’m guessing. I know the Telegram team are pretty switched on. If you’re happy. I’m happy. I would say that there is no reason at this stage for AB to be anything but upfront and direct in his communication. Seems a little cryptic.

Andy should have followed up the operational update with another Proactive interview. Breaking this cycle now isn’t a great look. I believe the news was warranted because you cannot have shareholders thinking a drill is very close when it actually isn’t. His last interview, six weeks ago promised more to say on funding “fairly soon”. Something clearly didn’t go to plan. The August unveiling of PLNG poised in exclusivity mode had most of us ready for that deal. It’s hopefully still ready to go. But expectations were raised a little early it seems.

The report on Greater Sunrise is by a company called Wood. Most commentators expect it will not favour a pipeline to TL. Maybe some sort of compromise but we really need a Woodside TL agreement. China never even mentioned Greater Sunrise in their Beijing communique and other parties getting involved will slow the entire process down. GS development will create a very favourable environment for Chuditch but I would hate to think we are dependent on this decision. Totally out of our hands and a history of constant delays and procrastination. Eddie’s information suggests not. Personally I would like some searching questions put to AB in a Proactive interview and a few loose ends cleared up. The rig delay, if it is the Valaris 247 is consistent with the Inpex 150 day schedule followed by Eni. No manipulation at all. Just facts. I look forward to a real breakthrough. Everything is still in motion and planning for a drill pushes ahead.

I appreciate you sharing that Eddie and it’s not far off describing how most of us feel.

It’s a waiting game. A pretty long one but I continue to think the company will deliver on Chuditch.

Pcc7. Yes. I’m possibly just looking for more excitement considering previous interviews. I can live with a wait, a lower share price but the potential of turning some of my hard earned cash into a windfall is central to my portfolio. The rather silly Sunda X post getting all worked up on a dubious article on Greater Sunrise based on Horta’s off the cuff comments bothered me. Some of the PR needs to be more focused on our project and not Greater Sunrise which is totally anyone’s guess.

No placing is a huge bonus. Drilling delay aside, what was disappointing about the news was, there wasn’t any news. It’s the same update as the last one. Everything remains as before. Positive stays positive but the continuing delay in funding worries investors. Theoretically we could have this entirely sorted very quickly. We don’t know what the hold up is. The possibility of new blocks and a near certainty on the Sulu sea blocks are welcome but our very existence depends on Chuditch.

I’m being way too fussy about wording. But the comments below left me a little underwhelmed. Language could have been more bullish. The emphasis on the relationship with the TL government suggests to me funding may well partly come from the Petroleum Fund in some shape or form. I look forward to the Proactive interview. I hope it does happen.

Plenty of buying. Rewind, scrap the last three months of comments and start again. Merry go round. The number of unexpected deaths waiting will go up. I intend to hang around. Just turn my attentions elsewhere.

That would be the worst possible scenario. Eddie was told that is not the case. Technicalities. Legal guarantees maybe still not trashed out. I could do with a hint that this deal is pending.

Rig delays. I can live with. The PLNG delay is unexpected and dare I say, a little worrying. I want greater certainty on this without bluff.

I think some reassurance is needed. didn’t like the tone of the RNS.
