I agree Silverlight but uncertainty is a killer. I could live with a delay combined with clarity on funding.

I’ve been a strong supporter of AB and his management. He promised Q2 and I will hold him to that. I think he has a few more weeks to deliver that. Maybe even more. Watching the share price plunge with no updates is painful.

A holding update. Doesn’t have to say anything new. Simply to say the timetable remains intact would be useful. That Silverlight response is not particularly helpful.

Thanks Silverlight. I detect a frustration and anxiety in AB’s reply. Hope I’m wrong but a little unnerving. We will find out soon. He could simply be ultra cautious in how he replies. Concealing any optimism. Unlike him.

Not forgetting Borsaic’s post yesterday announcing the successful feasibility study for an LNG plant and pipeline to Natabora. The discussions with Crown LNG to build a modular LNG plant. Possibly Woodside moving on GS or TL not waiting to find out. The Chuditch field. Right time. Right place.

The Council of Ministers approved on this Friday, the authorization for expenses related to the implementation of the Tasi Mane project, with a value of one million dollars, five hundred thousand. Furthermore, His Excellency Minister Monteiro stated that the National Procurement Commission under the supervision of the Ministry of Planning and Strategic Investment, will launch an international tender to seek qualified companies and arrange financing for the Suai Supply Base and Highway project from Zumalai Administrative Post to Natarbora. The government will initially allocate thirty-six million US dollars for the expenses related to this strategic project, while the value of the Highway and Suai Supply Base project. His Excellency the Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources highlighted the importance of the Zumalai - Natarbora Highway project and Suai Supply Base as a prerequisite to extracting oil and gas from the Greater Sunrise Field to Natarbora, as it serves as a facilitating infrastructure to mobilize materials from Suai Supply Base to build a LNG Plant, Petrochemical Plant, and Refinery.

What a monumental bore this is right now. I would almost take some bad news which would at least generate some sort of reaction and something to talk about. In the dark is not where I want to be.

I maybe looking for a positive where none exists but I’m hoping these studies also incorporated the proposed pipeline from Bayu Undan to onshore TL. Very much part of the signed MOU with Sunda Energy. Could be significant in terms of funding.

Last week OSL Iberia and PROES Consultores completed the final presentation of the Natarbora LNG Plant technical and commercial Feasibility Study in Dili, Timor-Leste. The meetings were held at the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources of the Government of Timor-Leste, chaired by His Excellency, the Minister Francisco da Costa Monteiro.

 During the last 7 months, OSL Iberia has led this challenging project, consisting of the following main areas:

✅ Gas export from Greater Sunrise offshore gas field to Natarbora through a 250 km submarine pipeline.

✅ Mid-Scale modular LNG Liquefaction Plant (3 MTPA).

✅ Associated processing facilities: Supplementary Natural Gas Products (Ammonia, Methanol, Helium production) and LPGs.

This project marks a significant milestone in Timor-Leste’s energy sector, contributing to long-term sustainability, energy security and social development.

There are two feasibly studies ongoing right now. One by the Spanish group PROES consulting services regarding the feasibility of building an LNG plant onshore Natabora and the other on transporting Chuditch gas from Bayu Undan to the onshore LNG plant. (Plus talks with Crown LNG to actually build an LNG plant). Any prospective investor(s) in Chuditch might want feedback from these studies. Speculation of course.

Assuming the rig is Valaris247 and it looks very likely. Jadestone are scheduled using the rig to drill their Skua well this month with an approximate duration of 72 days. That gives Sunda a May/June window to have the rig in place in this quarter. So still time for some negotiations to continue and possibly even data on the pipeline feasibility study due to complete April 2025.

OK. I was referring to an onshore pipeline study but it doesn’t matter. All will be revealed. Simply expressing my surprise at the length of time this is taking considering the very positive noises expressed by the company last year. Will be forgotten very quickly with a good news update.

I agree with all of that and that’s what concerns me. The pipeline feasibility study is due to report April. Can’t believe they would be waiting for that. Until I hear differently I remain optimistic but this hold up is unexpected. If we were on the cusp of financing a Q1 drill and AB spoke confidently about Q1, then this doesn’t quite add up.

March. Even the calmest, most laid back, most patient of investors must be thinking, what the hell is going on? This wasn’t in the script. I remember being pretty sure October was the month. Seems laughable now but not at the time. Either a reset of gargantuan qualities has occurred or the deal is so immense and of such tremendous complexity, it just can’t be rushed. Hoping the latter.

Investors big and small lose money.

Certainly doing a good job of crashing world stock markets. Including the USA.
