Norba , it was pretty obvious we were going to get a funding announcement linked to the President’s meeting. Investors betting on a spectacular rise. Then leaving when it didn’t materialise. Plus the loan repayments in the form of equity has frightened the horses. It will play out as it always does.

Absolutely. I took the time last night to read the RNS properly. He explains why he wasn’t prepared to go for rip off offers or hold the project back indefinitely offers. He put his shareholders first. Yes, there’s a very complicated financial loan in place which I don’t full y understand and which has causes some concern amongst the more informed posters. But we were left naked standing in the rain and to somehow come away with 30% is extraordinary. Timor Gap could have taken us to the cleaners. In so many ways sticking with the TL state company makes complete sense. I’m convinced the deal is under appreciated and we now stand ready to finish the job Shell started. I’m really delighted.

This announcement was always an end point for some. Zero interest in the company. Just the big payday. Funding was talked to death. The anti climax of a deal which isn’t sexy enough to cause a commotion and we know the rest.

That was interesting. He looked and sounded tired but then he always does. Other parties wanted a longer time period and he wanted to move right away. Emphasis on growing the company financially. Clearly explaining a very complex financial deal in a matter of minutes isn’t easy. . Tried to assure us the financiers were trust worthy with intentions in line with company success. Relief is what came across. Prefer to hear more about matters operationally. The pipeline. The LNG plans but he’s done a great job.

What if a separate deal with PLNG is possible. Now I’m talking cr*p. Check in later.
