5 Directors in a melt down. This was their response to the “actual FOUNDER of the company”?!!

F - me, and 3 of the new Directors are NOT even approved by the FCA themselves?!!
2 of which not even had a pay-check to their name, and releasing a RNS like that.

To me it looks like Amigo have claims under control but that is a guess as we don't know exact numbers yet. But it does look like there has been enough money put aside for this and we still had a small profit in Q1. Debt is coming down so believe we will be find come Dec
Q1 report was better than expected and seems to imply Amigo are working with FCA to sort future lending. Remember the FCA wanted them to lend to Key workers during the COVID crisis. Repayment holidays are coming to an end. Market will huge when they start lending again
I'm sure Q2/3 will not be pretty but there aren't many that will be, 2021 ? I can't see how you can predict as so many potential outcomes to current situation. If we get BoD and JB out of the way, FCA sorted and lending again I see good profits next year but if I put a number to that I'd be totally guessing
And the last reason I;m here is the actual spat between JB and board- JB is down to 0% next week from dumping 1% a day for the last 60 days so that is nearly 5m less shares floating around per day from next Thursday. Also why would the people closest to this company be fighting for it if they thought it would fail ?

I would add
- “The Issuer extending Bond Facility” when many negatives said it would NOT happen. This was a major thumbs up.
-In addition CEO buying 6m shares same day.
-GC appointment
- JB refusing a sale at 21p as he valued Co at £1.05p months back.

There are however plausable reasons why they would in the number of circumstances that are fast approaching next 2-6 weeks. They need to be seen offering something to investors,
The Argument for :
1) CFO, head is on the line.
2) ALL shares will be sold off by Thurs by main shareholder.
3) The same Shareholder who made public a Contract to buy 29% at 20p to win over shareholders
4) Floater voters who have no allegiance would be attracted by such an offer to buy-back.
5) Time of this new proposal is without doubt important. If they would not wish to confuse shareholders with that, they could exclude it?

This is obviously stupid. They are trying to bribe shareholders with their own money. Share buybacks that out a hole in the balance sheet are not comparable to a new CEO buying in.

But this is now the level at which the game is being played.

This is like BOD’s and CFO idea to loan from amigo loans to buy amigo shares to win over shareholders..lol

I think 90% on the BB have done their research and held for past 12 weeks for 1% to end. This is the time to hold.

The Feb expiry and the FCA approval have no connection imo, or is there?
Example if he bought 29% by mid Oct, thats done and dusted. Then if FCA approval happens in Jan. But he does state he wont be required to fo through FCA approval. So a little confusing unless I missed a tweet message or overlapped somewhere. Feel free to correct me, a long week here.

With all this stuff the devil’s in the detail though. Lawyers get rich finding loopholes one way or the other.

For clarity, I do not believe that taking Amigo private is a good idea for the company.
