In the RNS, TPG mention he worked at ICS. That was over 20 years ago - could the following be a hint as to why

Why should what you think influence me - I've made more than enough bad investment decisions in my life already. What I see is somebody trying to talk up their book.
If you put some facts and/or acknowledged where you were clearly wrong - then that would be a start. I pointed out that the 3 top shareholders couldn't possibly have voted against Cartmell - facts. You waffled about how there were probably some discussions at some advanced stage prior to the AGM. Then another random unsupported theory and about how a new CEO was already lined up and appraised of the Maritime situation and we'd all be in the black again.

Subsequent to the end of the year we announced the possible disposal of TPG Maritime Limited and at the time of this report, discussions with a PREFFERED bidder are ongoing.

Proud how touchy feely they've become, nothing for shareholders - other than losses and potential dilution - oh yes, and once again, promise of how great thing will be in the future. Same old story

Nope - just the link. No idea of values. As a long term holder - if it was anything over a fiver they'd be shouting it from the rooftops as a "significant multi year partnership". Anything that makes real hard profit (not disguised across the whole group as EBITDA) is a rarity.

My binary bet is on Marine being sold for a decent price. I don't see much down side if it isn't - but a reasonable upside if it is. - and my finger is hovering on the sell button.

TPG has a lot of synergies with multi-national companies - but, imo, is unlikely to be the game changer that they would have us believe.

My take on this is although an RNS - it's via REACH - a regulatory press release.

TPG are making it known to prospective buyers of Marine that there's added (future) value on the table now due to this collaboration with Collins - and that is in the open. So, if you're after Marine on the cheap, it ain't gonna happen.

Had a look on the website of fuelcell systems - one of the two partners of TPG on Hydroflex. There is a short youtube video on Hydroflex - interesting to watch. When it draws to close there's a page of all companies involved. Guess who's conspicuous by their absence again

Agree with that. Looked like TPG came to the table pretty late on HydroFlex - and not seen much mention of their part other than from them.

The latter announcement looks more positive - but not sure Porterbrook would dump 2 years worth of work on HydroFlex - as the TPG RNS of Feb states:

"The system will be deployed on a modified passenger train for a series of proving and demonstration activities."

L3Harris boat was used to test ants on deck. Must admit that TPG looked more like a mini L3Harris than Thales - but with that divestiture - less so now.
