Our latest Investing Matters Podcast episode with QuotedData's Edward Marten has just been released. Listen here.
Thanks for the welcome Wildforce - you always were a civil poster, trust you are well.
C7 - congrats on your trading strategy , just shows how understanding and concentration always come out trumps.
Personally always try to state a percentage profit rather then a monetary value on these boards - you will remember the embarrassing posts, over the years, put up by exaggerated shysters trying to present a false image.
Is Ratty still around?
TraderJoe, £6.00 in three years no chance. I believe that it will be more. That is my opinion - I am up more than 350%. - my choice.
I invest you trade - good luck to you, we are all trying to make a quid.
Leads me back to the indian call centers trying to rip you off on utility deals - When i answer I always try to ask them what their mother would make of their choice of career.
Good lord, its like groundhog decade here.
Only progress in that the failed professor has banned.
C7 - you still doing OK, making a quid here and there?
Best wishes
Ssshhh, be quite, you might encourage that dividendhunter profit of doom to return.
Seem to remember that poster used to buy AV. then moan like billyo before then sell at a .20p loss. Repeatedly.
Happy holding here.
IMACHUNT,
I do get a lot of calls, at some of my businesses, from mainly Indian call centers pretending to work for UK utility companies, I take pity on these poor unfortunates who appear to have no choice in life but to try and earn a living from deceit at the cost of others.
'Farmer, that's harsh webba might not know this so a little advice or guidance helps. So to clarify do you think the SP is going to hit 500 by 8am in the morning or will the RNS tell us that?'
No interest in selling below £6.50 so opening price on any day i irrelevant to me until the SP is above six quid.
Dear lord Traderjoe1 you have confused the word moral with the word moronic.
Is it brekkie time in Canada?
Webba1, I drop in on this board now and again as I hold from the .80p days. Generally it is full of Spivs looking for a short term trade & a rolex, fair enough each to their own.
Generally i do not comment on the moronic statements made, but as you have 160 posts and a thanks from the 1 post traderJoe1. i feel I must comment.
You posted "So lots of late sells, however the UT price at 372.4 should be tomorrows open price from what i've gleaned from the stars on this board."
FFs - how do you know a trade after the UT is a buy or sell?
Between a 16:30 close in the UK and an 08:00 open, bearing in mind an RNS is released for 07:00 on LSE (you may need to google RNS), do you seriously think the closing price will be the opening price?
Its like Gob****e city on this board.
You still holding out? I got shot of 50% @ £14.50 . Might leave 25% for a divi payer in the future, any thoughts?
AHL partners appear to have a number of their shorts reported in a period of 4 days, going from .83% on 4/1/21 to .45% on 8/1/21. Blackrock upped by .04% on 5/1/21. Hopefully someone with a calculator will be able to let me know the number of shares that AHL had to purchase since the start of the year?
I do remember the 'peak oil' stories of the early 2000's - what a gas.
Always interested in a LSE chat board when a long tern 'sitter' is engaged with a new poster. Lose respect when they forget which ID they are posting under though and the recommending of the posts shows a bit of an amateur approach.
However, I feel the kicking this company has had, like a few others with the 'international' presence on the board is entering it's final play.
Good Luck
resemblance of creditably for the recent influx of Gob****es on this board must go to the post from nathm @ 11:28 today:
"Where do you see the share price moving to Claire?
My personal opinion is £1 when the government officially announce pubs are re-opening, but with a low mcap still this could be north of £1.50 in 3-4 months."
As my grandfather used to say " 2 pints of pi$s in a pint pot"
Yes Pokerchips,
A period of volatility ahead.
Short tracker shows 3.94 % short excluding those below .5%
Still curious about the three week top selling share on H/L before the price drop.
We shall see , a bargain @ 3 quid?
Thanks Sasa,
A slip of the mind, so to speak
Prussell, don't talk about it do it. Buy shell, take the Div if necessary & sell @ 10% profit.
10 % from here is £4.40, a lofty figure. Div yield here is 7.3%, Shell is 6.8 %.
End of the day, its your money - risk & reward and so on.
I have exposure to AV. & an oil company - AV is steady in its range & i'm not a massive trader.
Yes Uncle Doug - whats to fear?
I think the days of the Chancing shorter are long gone.
Been in & held since 80p myself, nice little rise.
£5 not out of the question in the next two years, a bonus for the FD then, I believe
Good luck to traders & L/T holders
Agree drawndown, the yield has been poor for the last five years, picking up respectfully this year. The SP has been below £4 for a while.
I think it is a fast changing environmental world, up to the investor to determine if the company is doing their job.
This share was on the most bought list with Hargreaves Landsdowne (80%+) for close on 3 weeks before its drop from recent highs.
H/L likes a growth dividend share but also liked Clive Woodward. We shall see
Arsenal58 -
Hi, who have you got i mind to make an approach?
Bruce reckons Wm Hill, 888 and bet-at-home are potential targets?.
A special dividend would be nice - £2M a day profit - got to be spare.
Kenny has got his baby Honeysuckle entered in the Champion Hurdle at Cheltenham , surely in with a chance?
Excellent news Putney, nice to see a positive post from you - Gosh, 20 days for a 100% profit, marvelous.
Jambon, still holding for my quid - Chock Dee
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qu_ozjAu_vM
You may look at tradefair - but be very careful with shorting outside a hedge against your portfolio.
Boo up to 2.60 Jambon - then off out for the summer?
Thanks Bruce,
Agree with your sentiments, but will leg it with a tenner myself.
G/L
Know what you mean, C7.
I'm at the age that I almost pass wind every time I lift a heavy bag.
So, looking at your twice daily posting of buys/sells would it be fair to say the daily 'churn' is about 400 quid?
