Mustang - It could be... but now we are speculating thats all.. it could be for any reason. Thats why - I am seeking clarity from our BOD.

Ronny - getting BP and making it work, will prove a lot of doubters wrong, that includes myself. It is important for VAST especially in Rom.

Can VAST push forward without BP? If diamonds come through, absolutely yes. But becomes all eggs in one basket scenario. Good to have both BP/Rom and Diamonds/Zim. But if BP becomes too much of a hassle and is draining resources left/right/center, then as a last resort I would cut my losses and move on from BP.

VM - thanks for your reply. I was not expecting an answer for my questions.. Just a trigger. We placed - we used? We are placing, I don't know where the money will be used. We will be placing in the future, but the BOD would know based on income, future expenses - what the potential cash needs are. No one has a blank cheque, in this case 850m shares and "what is next" is my question.

By asking this question, BOD will tell how much is for future new projects and how far they are likely to expand. Which will help me decide, VAST's risk profile and investment case. Currently as I have said, "too fast and too thin" is not good IMO

VM - understand your view point. I have a different view. Based on the $$ that BOD is asking for and without knowing what they are need for, info is NOT good enough for me to vote "YES".

Can I ask some questions - When did we raise last? When is the next placement after this 850m shares? Do you know?

2pence - I am already negative... :) But lets hope BOD provides some 80-20 guidance on how this money will be spent before the AGM. It is in the interest of everyone to make progress. I will vote based on info that becomes available.

$650k is due immediately on the grant of BP licence - from chairman's letter on 28-Sep

Ian - no, you can't do that... 850m shares - once you authorize, you authorize.. BOD have the permission to place that 850m shares, however they choose and whatever they decide. Last headroom was approved based on same understanding, that money is not required - will be used when required. What happened next?

Ian - people would be voting before AGM. I have already asked the question to VAST and waiting for an answer. I will be making it very clear that it would be easier for me to vote, if there is transparency of where this $$ will be used.

Sandy - I understand it is very hard to give the full break down. But 80-20 of where you are likely to spend would be welcome. What was very clear is 850m placement headroom required. What is NOT very clear is what these are for and where it will be used.

Ian - I haven't traded my VAST shares. I bought it majority of shares after AP was appointed. Why now - because, communication from AP had been poor, last placement was a shambles, saying one thing and doing another. Well you want headroom and want to place 850m shares to raise $4.5-6m (depending on placement price), but have only outlined $1.65k expenses so far. Less than 35% outlined, 65% of raising for fancy expenses? or BOD not being transparent - which one is it?

Ian - "We either trust in the BOD or we sell" subtly put... support your BOD or get lost? I am asking our BOD to come out and clarify where he intends to use the money. Support BOD/AP - will get when he is transparent on costs. :)

pepco - how much from this list of costs you have shared is "assumed" and how much is declared by company as "facts"?

Another couple of weeks to AGM? AGM will provide us the direction. One way or another! :) Not worried about BP any more.. its about placement and where $$ is going...

Sandy - I have high regards for Lee... He doesn't come across as aggressive at all.. he either answers in a good way or he doesn't... may be wanted to support some on here.. don't know.. anyway.. nothing against Lee.. all I am saying is - people who think that they know more, may act aggressively. Not that I am concerned.. Happy to deal with it. GL

ORT - I have seen aggressive behaviour here.. It still continues... let them come and have a decent discussion.. rather than being aggressive.

Check Lee's message - "Fantasy you will find that the guys who are "super aggressive when you challenge them" are the ones who have done so much research they understand the parts that are not so clear to some other investors." - what does this message tell you? If you do research and understand the parts, you can be super aggressive? really?
