so Angus we have more questions than answers..... we are finding issues, one after an another... when we find answers this question, AP would have forced us to ask another 10 new questions... :))

Baron left VAST for a reason.. well done to Baron when he exited VAST.. :) Fundamental issues had been for a long time, we are seeing and effects/aftermath now..

we expected 2019 to be better than 2018, certainly not the start we were hoping for..

Angus - so why did Mercuria refused VAST the tranche 2? AP knows the real reason.. :)

TBTT - I am not dismissing marange diamonds.. you need to read context and the discussion to understand what i am saying...

diamond/marange - for me icing on the cake... for facts - do you have an RNS to confirm that VAST are invited officially to mine diamonds in Zim. Until it is official, it is speculation. We have a good chance to land, but thats all it is.. after all the licence VAST had was taken away in zim.. you know where I am going with this.. when you sell diamonds and get the cash in your account, should be accounting for each day with VAST in Zim!! Don't count on the next day. Things are different now and all that... you don't build trust in 1 day...

we don't have plan for licence that we hold... we don't have enough cash to kick-start for the licence we hold... .that is BP..... but for the diamonds, which may be very very profitable!! Not dismissing diamonds, but lets get out of this funding mess and have some plans for BP, which is what I invested for.. If diamond comes - great, if not - no bother from my side. :)

Mercuria T2 pull out is not a speculation.. SP tarnished from 0.6p to wonderful 0.2p is not a speculation. Too many deals and VAST ran out of cash is not a speculation. :) more facts here..

FTB - "what has changed?" - correct nothing has changed in VAST... Shambles for a while and that continues... same old VAST :)

lots of plans... lots of talking... there is no excellence in execution and nothing much to show for.... that includes AP's reputation... I don't think AP would come out and accept any accountability for this shambles.. If he does, people would respect him little bit.. People had shown enough patience with AP, he is no different to his predecessor... IMO same make and mold.. different colour and different tone of language... My view on AP over the last 6 months, had been closer to reality.

killerpidgeon - we had VAST rocket in launching pad, to take it to the moon.. the only problem was rocket didn't have any fuel.. when tried to launch, it fell off the pad... Commander in chief is blaming the weather for this mishap.. now looking for the next window to launch it.. needs new spare parts to mend the damaged rocket and have placed order for this long lead item.. everyone who came to see the launch, waited for a while, but announcements had been that the launch is coming soon... and only 2 countries can launch for moon and every piece of moon is owned by these 2 countries... they are expecting moon rock to be the next big thing... also if you need to launch to other planets, you need a base and hence needs to go via moon... people are excited about the prospects in solar system, stars and galaxies... you see vast opportunity... launch is coming... people who have waited with lot of patience.. don't know whether to stay or to vacate the place...... whilst we are trying to launch to moon, people still believe we can reach for other planets, stars and conquer the mid-tier of milky way galaxy, if not for the whole of universe... mouth watering prospect..

so far the commander in chief hasn't spoken about lack of fuel... but insists launch is still on... :)

VAST - what a disaster this is turning out to be... First of all - feel sorry for people who have invested in VAST.. Unfortunately I still hold 1/3rd of VAST shares.

Have been calling AP to come out clean for a while - Talks good, delivers little. Tells one but turns out to be an another. Everything with VAST is someone's fault and NOT BoDs or AP's or VAST's.

BP communication shambles - communication of licence coming when the final paper hasn't submitted by VAST
BP de-watering costs.. surprise, surprise, need more money
Shareholder value BS - Communication of no dilution in podcasts, but placing left, right and center
We don't need to place - but need headroom.. placed within few weeks
Manaila making loss
T2 coming, coming, coming and.... no sorry, Mercuria pulled out... and plenty more of examples

Lets say this - why Bergen deal was orchestrated, with such a short notice?? with such a wonga type deal, with 90days buy back clause... why when T2 was still play?? Here is the answer - VAST knew of mercuria pull out or strong reasons to believe mercuria will pull out... Vast made Bergen and announced.... in the meantime announced Mercuria is still in place but delayed, when AP/VAST knew very well, it has little chance of Mercuria going through - all to buy time. Sure, VAST/AP are working through less preferred plan b, c & d...

People who still has rose-tinted glasses and have your head in the sand.... and everyone who has called T2 on track... do you know $1m placement - what was that for?

Have called Bergen conversion closer to 0.22p, to close the charts gap at 0.205p.. Now thats done.. Wish I sold my remaining 1/3rd as well... hindsight and all that... I am hoping for some good news, to move this up...

Too many deals, spread it too thin, ran out of cash, scrambled for last min bergen, placed it to keep the lights on - AP stop all the BS and come out clean to the shareholders...

Message to AP (FAHP - you are good at this, copy paste it to AP in an email or text him :)))) - Best CEO of the year 2018 in Aim was it? Changing fast!! 1st step to any recovery is to admit your mistakes.. and move on. People will start to believe or start to trust.. Stop the BS and salesman speeches in podcasts/telegram and release proper news via RNSs.

There is some hope, once bergen converts - this may move up but no where near where people expect it to...

we had 3 RNSs.... hmm don't know where to start......

1. one talks about share holders value but actions related to more dilution!

2nd one - more like vast and an another shambles... VAST had lost count of number of placements, couldn't count the number of shares and had to re-issue a RNS.....

3rd one - podcast said, Tranche 2 couldn't be hours away? RNS confirmed something different...

hmm.........

don't believe in luck any more.... just only one thing left in VAST - hope..

why would Bergen want to do partial conversion? whats the advantage/disadvantage with partial conversion?

Pepco - 1% change in bergen holding needs to be declared correct... Current shares in vast - 5.9b in issue.. Bergen conversion @0.2p, will give them 750m shares, say conservatively Bergen gets 500m shares at higher conversion SP.. total shares in issue 6.4b shares.. 1% of it is 64m shares.. if you trade it smartly, which Bergen may do - 64m shares window is good enough IMO... but nearly 13% of Bergen's holding for trading, not bad.. Big issue for me is - Bergen would have a decent control of how SP behaves.. irrespective of news.. :)

assumptions
- T2 doesn't arrive and Bergen converts
- VAST has 90 days to buy back this convertibles (means cannot sell, but can still trade!)

If T2 doesn't arrive and Bergen wants to convert, expect the SP to go down south towards 0.2p, just above 0.2p... Now Bergen would want the SP up, to trade this.. not selling because it may need to hand over the shares back to VAST.. AP offers some decent news, as alluded to... diamonds, zagra, either delayed T2 or option B/C/D/whatever other options... Bergen controls the SP to move-up or down.. but holds the majority of convertibles... Yeah Bergen cannot short, this is aim.. and contract doesn't say bergen cannot trade it...

If Bergen converts, I expect short term hype in VAST to keep the SP up... and if VAST doesn't buy back.. expect SP to move south of 0.2p to screw VAST for one last time... no chance for vast to ask Bergen for its 2nd tranche.. Bergen would have made enough from fees, from trading it, last chance of bugger all short it to take below 0.2p and say goodbye without Bergen 2nd tranch...

if Bergen converts - expect more volatility in VAST... Not saying this would happen, but a possibility..

But here we go - AP can release the news on Mercuria T2 and we can say "good bye" to Bergen and the SP to move towards 0.5p.. - possible too..
