pushing up the price? Nice to see CLIG recover part of the divi. I think CLIG at these levels provide a decent yield with little capital downside. In the event of a retrace to 400p I would add as the yield is good here and a recovery is likely long-term.

this is not looking so good. If I was strapped for cash I might in time put some money in hoping for a tick-up in the SP but seeing the falls I think this is best watched for now.

Appleby I agree it is undervalued after the update. The rent rises are strong even against good comparatives last year and they do manage to get premiums over book value for sales. 120p might be a stretch as it closes in on NAV but it is in a bit of sweet spot now. The underlying direction of the SP is most definitely up. I only bought in two months ago but my timing has been good so far. Was the bid for this at a premium? 140p would be nice for me especially if I pick up a few divis before a bid.

Might be a subliminal message. Or some major investor wants a 1-to-1 conversation while they take a stake here. Or it might be an investor who dropped a bowling ball on his 'ead and switched to investing in shares for leisure.
