From the company ....
" Focus on scale up of material production to move from current pilot production to giga-scale manufacturing over the next 2 years"
We are talking full giga scale production towards end of 2025 early 2026.
Not long at all , so there must be talks of starting soon behind the scenes, can’t wait for this announcement
It's more importantly to look at the current M/C of DGI and all the pipeline proposals for the near future, other than the amount of shares in issue. We know that DGI are entering an Industry ripe for longer performing batteries and newer technology that would enhance the whole motor industry. DGI has all this and more, It has been noticed by 3 very able persons that would see DGI straight to production. We have already been told that expect production towards end of 2025.
Yes DGI will need huge investment to start up production, But ask your self this.... With the new mega factory being constructed with the backing of certain well branded Motor Manufacturers, and possible orders from the Military, Any finance deal will be overshadowed by the huge revenue DGI will receive.
Don't expect the current M/C of just £15M still be sitting at this level very much longer. Any news will rocket this north of £100's M.
I have taken more at this ridiculously low M/C and will hold.
It's a mega company in the making.
Hi chrishutch, totally agreed at this ridiculous price an incredible opportunity to buy at sub 0.005p Given the poor fund rise by the BOD no doubt they will be filling their boots.
Expect the usual positive RNS to land shortly after the raise and should easily bounce back to near 1p. Not good for existing holders like me but I have also taken the opportunity in average down below 0.0048ish making my long term hold here better average.
Nevertheless its a poor funding at just 0.5, Given the directors are participating it's obvious their personal gain at receiving CLN's or shares for their investment at this level shows little appreciation for existing share holders.
They should have never agreed a 30% discount if they were confident in their products.
Losing confidence
Incredible news stated... and this is where the huge uplift will start.

This is going to bring in mammoth revenues !!!
All for just £15M M/C.... I don't think so .... We must be talking £B's here
No wonder the 3 amigo's have arrived
Yes at last, sp been suppressed although markets have been in free-fall in the last month or so. Incredible buying opportunity at this ridiculous level.
OCTP will have progressed towards their phase 2 trials so expecting RNS confirming this together with hopefully further news on their other products. They are still fully funded till 2 qtr next year. Any positive news will establish a good finance deal taking them through near production late into 2024.
Yes very disappointing, we need an update especially being told phase 1 last patient was administered and with all other no real adverse side effect. Come on Clarissa we are so far from the IPO at 5p now look at share holders value !!!
Give us an update which the market can relate to some positively good news
I expect positive news for phase 1 and moving quickly to phase 2. We are fully funded till April 2024.
I would expect funding via existing share holders at a much higher price than currently, with an offer of additional shares to only existing holders and the remainder a placing. OCTP will gather momentum with positive news pushing the current sp much higher before any form of fund raise in Q1 2024. Don't rule out any significant news would be an opportunity for a JV without any further funding.
Rabnesbit..
You are correct most early drug development companies do start with a high M/C at IPO because most buy into the concept of a product at early stage and the value of success does reflect the IPO value.
However where you have underestimated the value OCTP have placed themself in a market where a product that has been already used by many millions all over the world and has proven successful in its own right. OCTP are really just formulating an existing substance that as little side effects but already has proven ability to subdue pain. To achieve a secure medical certification which in return allows OCTP for its products to be either prescribed or over the counter is where OCTP has identified a huge gap in the market.
The trials are just a formality and any adjustment to their products to achieve the correct outcome will easily be achieved.
It's not that OCTP are trying to create a totally new product and have spent many years and £10's M 0n R & D but have been formulating a product that is safe to use. OCTP will start production in 2024. That's only around 3 years since IPO in 2021.
Given trials have commenced, I anticipate OCTP will be self funded by a JV. If it needs to raise it will be early 2024 on the back of positive results after phase 2 at which point the sp should be closer to or above IPO 5p.
The drop in the sp has not been by poor results or continued delays, But the markets have not digested what OCTP are doing and take the view that you have and therefore created a very undervalued company.
GL but DYOR
I still suspect the mm's are keeping a lid on the sp helping buy orders being filled. The last few weeks have seen the sp held with buying pressure suppressed and many trades shown as sells when in fact they are buys, Typically that 1,25M buy was shown after hours. And those. sells at 0.824 were buys.
I been getting 0.8 most of the day for a sell and 0.83499 for a buy but max was 250K shares otherwise NT.
Let's hoping positive question time next week with RNS of results ready for second phase. Again so much more upside from this level then downside
