Decided to do a little top up at 2.95p today, although I initially planned to top up if it went down to the low 2s. We need some big investors to come on board. Once the sentiment returns and we're clear about drilling dates etc we should move back up fairly quickly imo.
Completely agree bhargav. The slow progress and uncertainty is killing the sentiment. I do think this could potentially be a great stock, but for now, I don't see the sp going up. Drilling could be another year from now. I'm planning to hold and top up once we get into the low 2s.

Likewise, unfortunately I won't be able to attend the AGM (I'll be abroad) but I'll check the bb and listen out for any news from OMI. Also, it would be nice if we get an update tonight or tomorrow confirming that Newmont have paid!
Tbh no one really knows what the main issues are (if there are any) except for OMI and Newmont. Maybe Newmont just operate slowly. Our ceo has mentioned this in the past. Plus the Goldcorp acquisition several months ago and Uruguay never helped the situation either. Who knows. Hopefully OMI does very well and the sp picks up soon.
IMO the 2 biggest concerns are: 1) Newmont walk away. 2) Forest protection order is extended and nothing happens at Anza for another year.
In the meantime, the sp will probably continue to sink until we get an update. I thought it wouldn't drop below 3p after the last p&d. Very disappointing.
Yeah good questions bhargav. Director buys would certainly be encouraging. I'm still waiting for the shareholders list to be updated on the website. I really thought we'd have an RNS by now regarding the 10M shares. Maybe he is working hard and preparing an RNS! Either way, I hope some good news is coming that will restore sentiment. Quite a few big sells went through today which is not nice to see at such low levels.
I've emailed the ceo about the forest protection order and whilst he is limited to what he can/ cannot say, he did say that OMI will report back to the market if there is any material change (for good or bad) regarding the forest protection order. The summary in the AIF document explains the situation. He said this is one of the issues that need to be managed in the project and that they have been making progress according to plan.
Any bad/negative news will cause this to drop further. I think we need a bit of clarity on the forest protection order as there is some uncertainty if this restriction is hindering progress made by Newmont. On the contrary, any positive update from OMI/Newmont on Anza will cause this to fly. I just wish Newmont would get on with it... or maybe they are and there's other issues/restrictions? Would love if OMI get bought out and shareholders get paid £1/share. Now that might never happen but it's a nice thought!
It's really disappointing how slow its taking here, but what gives me some hope is seeing that Buritica is progressing. Would love to see activity pick up at Anza.
