IF of course Zenith manage to pull the rabbit out of the hat with the licence against the odds. They would of course have to give up a share of ownership but if they partner on 103c only, just for the sidetrack then the story would be somewhat different if it were a success. If the licence does get approved then based on the previous performance of Zena drill teams, bringing in a partner with a highly focussed eye on the 'prize' would be the way I would go. Tilapia 2 would then be available for Zenith to decide to either contract the drilling, partner again or diy.

Yes they will detect if there is any gas on the way down. There may be some down hole sensors these days, but regardless of that, it will be present in the 'shaker house' where the mud and chippings return to surface. Also, If the chippings start coming back with rainbow colouring on their surface, it could mean liquid hydrocarbons. Neither are conclusive of anything of substance but better than dull grey chippings and no gas being detected. Tik tok.

MLS, I drafted a post a few days ago about needing £5m minimum to do anything with Tilapia, even after the license fee, therefore 5-10 million is a decent figure to get the whole package sorted. License, brown envelope, rig to Congo or local rig and crew hire, local offices, site set up, drilling equipment, various tubulars, wireline maybe, test equipment, service providers, surface equipment, new suit, travel, fabricated photo opportunities with the ahem, ' govt ministers' blah blah. Fund raise at 0.4 for 2billion shares will give 3 billions in issue and 8 mill to squander, It's not past possibility. A bit more than the 100 million when I bought. Yesterday's rns was just another excuse to be able to raise cash to participate in any bid rounds and then if successful, yet another carrot being sowed. Nice work if you can get it. I see that the overheads reduction in salary due to covid never materialised.

Expect a lot more dilution to come, wouldn't be surprised to see 2bn shares in issue over the next 6 months. 1bn raise at 0.5 would only give then £5m which in itself is not enough to be getting any of their currently illusive acquisitions through from set-up to drilling-to production. At the moment, its farked, it may change, waiting to see the proof of the pudding so to speak.
Someone mentioned revisiting the highs? 13p would mean 125m mcap and if my dilutive theory comes to fruition then it would be more like £260m mcap. not a hope in hell. If it ever gets above twopee, it will be doing well and that would still equate to a mcap of nearly double what it was in the 'highs' of 13p with just over 100m shares in issue at the time. There is more chance of seeing 0.13p than 13. There may well be some money to be made though, therefore still looking in and waiting.
