2 x production units, gives them instant revenue and both in their infancy with years of production to come. Equipment is all relatively new and shiny, there are little/no decommissioning/rehabilitation costs, the area under control is 52000 acres, further development opportunities exist, deeper targets may prove additional reserves, poo has risen, production increase towards around 7000 barrels a day over the next couple of years or so. There are established partners already operating and taking care of business. so its just move-in, take control and bank the revenue.

I am attracted to this on the basis that they have over delivered on achieved objectives. No dramas, no stuck pipe, lost equipment, nowt. And a 30 % approx reduction in time to drill. 2 weeks to wait for first opinions which should tell whether the is a prize to be sought. Maybe a small 'malcy boost' this week..

Sipp. Similar/different over on Zephyr today I noticed. SP was .95, all buys were going through 0.92 shown as sells, daft spread, pricing incorrect, now shows minus 5% which again isn't entirely correct. Annoying eh. thks for pointing it out

Advertised SP is incorrect. Buys are below mid price, therefore show as sells. SP should be closer to 0.9. Plenty of decent buys though today. Must be because of the lovely Katie.

The news to date sounds good to me, trades today seem not to agree!!. All red and price looks to be weakening, maybe I have got it wrong as usual!.. If the initial and subsequent detailed analysis shows that the prize is worth pursuing then raising the cash to go for it with a side track from the existing pad and wellbore should be straightforward. Dilutive or not, the mcap should be 15-20m by then --just at a guess of course, so a fund raise at that point would be both expected and required to move forward. or--a.n.other might want to drill it on a jv basis. 2weeks for initial analysis, should tell enough to decide whether to buy, sell, or hold.

Its had a good run the last couple of weeks, a pull back is to be expected really--I have been quite surprised that the sp has crept up 1-3% each day over the last week. Pullback gives folk the feeling of not having lost out entirely and encourages new investors whom can 'see' the price was higher and know there is no reason why it wont go there again.= @confidence.
So far as test results: I understood they were not expected until close to end of Q1 anyway.. I seem to recall that from a recent interview (not last night), so in my view there is no real delay in the 'end date'.

@Jack. I finally listened to the latest interview and it is stated in there that ECR won't be reporting results from their own lab. Its what I expected really which is a pity as we will have a long wait for official assay results from overstretched labs. In the meantime it will be a case of joining the dots.

it looks like a case of the "hedging of the bets". Early drill indicators using our in-house lab will--maybe--direct the decision process of whether to JV one or t'other or both and then go for some of those other licences. Own lab results are not official findings and can't be publicised as such but maybe they are allowed to divulge what they think they have found?, 'subject to external verification'. Does anyone know the rules on this? I expect there will be a mad scramble on site to get the cores back to the workshop just to open it and see, just like Christmas presents. !.

TSP. You are on a bit of a ramp today sir!. Its not unjustified of course. Potential for 10x current mcap here when adding up the sum of the parts and applying some forward thinking logic. Would be happy with 60m mcap for starters though.

But. If Trinidad cant take all of the gas produced by touchstone, it could be sent out to the LNG liquefaction plant and shipped to whoever wants to pay the most for it. It may even end up in the Isla of Grain in Kent or in Pembrokeshire.

Nice try Bully boy. Its a difference kettle of bananas. LNG is natural gas cooled to minus 162 degrees C and kept at cryogenic temperatures so far as possible, save for the boil off which is sometimes lost to atmosphere and sometimes captured. It is cooled to a liquid to save huge space and allows it to be transported. I cubic metre of LNG = 600 cubic metres of gas, i.e.600 times bigger. Liquids produced alongside gas from a well are liquids at atmospheric temperature, although left to their own devices in the open air will probably evaporate in time--bit like petrol.
