Wilson63, looking at the FDA EUA notice there was an amendment made in April . Novacyt have added an alternative RNA extraction process ( Q1 Amp Viral) to what was contained in the original notice. As far as I know EUAs are granted for the length of the pandemic .

If you look at the timeline section on this link you will see that UNICEF awarded a long term contract to Novacyt on 21/10/ 20 ,which must have superceded the original supply agreement . Although it doesn't mention Novacyt by name , they were the second company to receive World Health Organisation approval for their covid19 test .

Why has the new Group Clinical Performance Director not been added to Novacyts newly updated list of key personnel . According to information available elsewhere he joined the company two months ago from a very large pharma . Staying under the radar comes to mind.

There is some info in this link regarding Patent Box tax relief. Novacyt first mentioned this in their 2020 half year accounts .Since then they filed for 16 different patent's last December. This figure could be higher now with the new products which have been launched recently (more research needed). If they are successful in gaining patent box tax relief on the profits from newly patented product's there could be substantial savings in tax payments, especially with rates due to rise from 19 to 25%.

earth70000, from what I can see the Innova test is being sold at £175 +VAT for 25 test's on this site (£8-40 a test ). Just to give you some guidance.

I don't know if anyone noticed but the list of products to be be supplied in the contract last autumn also included (HT) High throughput test's. These wouldn't be for use on q16 and q32 devices as a NPT. They are designed for the bigger labs using 96 well format's or larger.
