Interesting looking on the Innova website it states the rapid antigen test is not for sale in the USA. Yet according to the FDA letter the test's have been distributed to several places in the USA with no authorisation in place .

Hillseeker, from what I can see BlackRock are now down to just over a 1% holding.If the figures are correct they must have drip fed 1.2 million shares into the market through May. No wonder World Quant haven't been in a hurry to close their short .

Add4you, thanks for the link on Saturday regarding the genotyping and sequencing of positive covid19 samples.From the information contained all positive tests in the NHS will be sent to PHE Colindale for genotyping and sequencing from May 26th. However from mid June the aim is bring this testing back into the NHS lab's shown at the end of the article subject to the successful validation of a test for the Indian variant . I posted about the recruitment campaign taking place at these lab's a couple of week's ago. They were looking for staff to genotype and sequence positive covid19 samples and they are initially on one year contact's.

Then if you look at this article that was released two days later it states on page 21 that rapid genotyping assays are being rolled out across the testing lab network and have been amended to incorporate VOC-21APR-02 .It seems that they now have the test for the Indian variant and the service should be able to start as planned.

Go back 8 month's to last September and the run up to the AGM . Novacyt had to tweet and ask for shareholders to get their votes in as they were struggling to reach the required minimum needed . I can't see Novacyt wanting a repeat of this , especially if a vote concerns a major decision relating to the company going forwards. Will any more funds be tempted to invest once the results, DHSC update and forward plans for the company have been released? If they were to do so it would certainly help Novacyt with getting the numbers required for any voting.

SC, just to add to your post regarding the first contract in may. The supply was only set at 288,000 test's a week for the first month , after that it was supposed to be reduced to 192,000 test's a week . Details are in the second notice that was put out for that contract.

Wilson63, that's just been updated .It looks like World Quant reduced their short by a further 98,000 shares on Friday. Still 658,000 shares to go.
