Originally this started out using nasal swabs ,then in the summer it was switched to using saliva samples which proved accurate and popular with their worker's. Interesting to see the letter's BPG above Primer Design name in the list .If I'm correct they appear to be an american company Burke Porter Group who specialise in finding workplace production solutions, Life Sciences being one of the areas they operate in .

Several of Katalyst recent job adverts have have stated that the company will be introducing over 100 new health and well being diagnostic test's in the next few months as they continue to grow their market share . I wonder if any of these will be supplied by novacyt.

Larry10, I just had a look at that link . The last time World Quant increased their short slightly from 0.82 to 0.91% was on June 24th. The closing price that day was £3.35 and it would appear Short Europe are using the price of the short increase that day when doing their overall calculations. As you correctly say they reappeared with the short around the £8 pound mark and increased several times on the way down .

I found this site which gives more details of World Quants short on Novacyt. It shows an opening price of 3.95 euros for the short that is still open , 3.38 in pounds. No wonder we've been getting visit's from the sentiment shifter.

They do mention that further vaccines that are already on the market could become available for a booster programme ,but they don't give any more details.
Astra Zeneca have only just started recruiting for their new ( beta ) vaccine trial's. The results from these trial's won't be available till later in the year.

Astra Zeneca put out a press release late June that they are starting to recruit for stage 2 and 3 trials of their new variant vaccine. This vaccine has been developed around the beta variant ,with the recruiting taking place in Brazil, South Africa and Poland . They hope to have results later in the year .

Some more information in the second story in this link relating to the if127 biomarker.It would appear when using a blood test that this biomarker can show the presence of covid19 in asymptomatic and symptomatic people before a PCR test can using upper respiratory samples. They also make the case that this type of test could be used for screening people who have been told to isolate after contact with a Covid case .The aim being to shorten the period of isolation.
