Disagree, since the amount to be earned from renewable electric has increased by a large amount due to the increases caused by fossil fuel cost increases. The costs to produce the renewables has not increased so their margins will be bigger at no extra cost.

....we did. It was flagged well in advance and we even knew almost to the hour when it would start such was the quality of the intelligence being received. In the west, we were actually very surprised by how calm things were in Ukraine right up until the start of the invasion. Of course the Ukranians played this to their advantage because nowhere outside Russia could they be accused of antagonising Russia.
The good news is of course that they are more than capable of sending Russians back home. Even if large scale war grinds to a halt over the winter months I think we will see a large uptick in resistance attacks in the winter....sending them home in body bags one by one from occupied territories will eventually lead to withdrawal. No country can hope to hold on to another country in the long term if the population doesn't support the regime change.
