Another day another RNS...further acquisition of ~£131K shares by Jos....you dont make an aquision that size without confidence

That is not how buy outs work.....must exceed highest price in past 12 months....anyone who has failed to reduce their average here deserves to lose money

There is a built in time period between directors trading and major news (think it is 2 months but someone correct me if that is wrong).....so again I will state tha the drectors did not buy ~£430K of shares in lat october on a collective whim....something they are aware of has triggered this mass purchase....

I think it is a takeover....you disagree....also fine....the great thing is time will reveal the actual reason (maybe a large order instead, which would also be good)

The very large director purchases came too close to results date to be related to that, which means that they purchased ~£430K worth of shares based on something else that will become apparent in or around Christmas at the earliest....

I think a buyout by a larger defense company is coming and I thought that the current ceo was brought on board with that specifically planned (he has history with handling company buyouts) I think that the timing of the directors buys indicates that an offer could be coming in December......

comparing apples and oranges...

Vodafone is saddled with eyewatering dept (>30 billion or there abouts??).....they even made a paper loss according to the results posted this week....Vodafone maintained dividends when they could have stopped them to reduce dept, etc, etc.....I am also inveted in Vodafone for my sins so am very aware of it as a trap....

I happen to have faith in pfc for a number of reasons, not least in their ability to work in both O&G and renewables sectors and collaborate in huge projects....

This is another RR in the making ( sat well under £1 for a long time and sudeenly recovered and is worth roughly 4x its lows of last year)...time will tell if Iam right or wrong....in the meantime my average has been reduced significantly and I have sold on the rise and bought the dips ......I have learned that nobody makes money in a share that holds a steady price for a long time...rises and falls are how money is made (and lost by the impatient)

But then in fairness JG68, you never have anything positive to contribute in relation to PFC....one would almost think you have an agenda......

a takeover is likely to be made based on top price within the past 12 months.....c. £1.30/share is a very pathetic price for a company with such a large order book

given the order book is in the multi-billion level £ we could expect the various contracts to be paid in tranches...given the sums involved we are likely to see dividends to be reinstated in 2024.....and when this happens the share price will easily rise well beyond the £1.30 levels....

rather than praying for takeover patiently wait for the return of dividends and while the shorters are toying with this share buy the dips, reduce your average and sell small percentages of shares to make money in the interim....

What would satisfy you?

Would a monthly RNS re-stating that no RI is pending?

If not perhaps a weekly RNS would be satisfactory?

And if you are still concerned perhaps you would wish to have daily RNS confirming no RI is pending?

Do you see the nonsense of that approach....a RNS is to inform of news not to inform that nothing has changed.

I was going to hold here but since this incitful post from DanFos I am definitely going to offload ......I mean who can argue against 'No end of troubles here'......

Excellent opportunity for anyone with spare cash to top up before the price rises.....

Since many on here have been complaining that it is shorters pulled the price down once they leave the stage the price will continue to head north....may be slow may be quick....may be sporadic and may drop again...such is the nature of shares...

The December TU should tell us lots and set the direction of travel
