Everyone chatting to short paul curtis as though he is 'the' paul curtis.....

The truth is he could simply be some random bloke that has named himself on these chat boards with that profile name...

Also remember most people on here post for their benefit and not yours....

That said, since he always uses the same nonsense arguments he will be talking about D4E, rights issue or some other form of dilution to try to force the weak to sell up at a loss....

Patience is required....the shorts have overstretched....they desperately need to buy back for less than they borrowed but the available pool of shares is reduced significantly Asfari and other major holders are not going to sell, lots of PIs here have got wise to the shady practice of firms lending out our shares and blocked with a high sell limit.....and the pool of available shares sinks further......soon the RNS will drop and then the shorts will eat each other alive ..... desperate not to be the biggest loser

None.....today is ex-dividend day but the price drop does seem to be overdone.....

Anything is possible but you would expect the price to recover in the coming days

It is almost impossible to find the bottom or top of a share price - anyone who claims to know this is a liar.

shares prices fluctuate on no news depending on market sentiment.

Best advice I could give you is to add more shares on a drop to lower your average. The advantage is you can trim some when the price climbs again to your break even point (rinse and repeat)

When I first bought into Avon it was at £22.65 in mid 2021. My average is just North of £9 now......if it drops again I will lower my average again (I trimmed (sold) £10K when it headed up past my average).

I still think long term we will see a takeover approach here.

Ex-dividend date tomorrow....could fall a few more %....also a little shocked at the fall on good news this week

2. Given that dividend reinvestment ocurred a matter of days ago a drop equivalent to that is normal (or at least I have observed many times)

The price will steady and go back up in a week or two I expect...

Ii does not allow this strategy....a message is generated that states 'Limit price must be within 25% of the current price'

ICI was head of legal leading up to their acquisition by Alkzonobel and remained with Alkzonobel for a period after where various mergers and sell offs occurred.
