They would not be allowed to if the TO rumours are true as it would be seen as insider trading......

I think any potential buyer would struggle to get majority support at that level

The point is he is not invested and he is simply pushing information that has been repeated many times here so not anything new....any thoughts on why someone would feel compelled to do this?

It is reasonable to assume that someone could be amassing a position at these prices

No, I suspect they will use the billions on weapons arriving from NATO countries, the jet fighters coming into operation and the go ahead from allies to use these weapons in russian soil (hitting russian supplies)
