RE: Sales of processed marble22 Dec 2014 11:51
I think everyone has the right to post an opinion, there are probably plenty of potential investors sitting on te fence and watching.
I did buy another 4ks worth today. I had a look at my portfolio and after a few disasters and a few huge successes I'm finally showing a book profit for this year. Think I have learnt a lot as well, not to get greedy, not to reinforce failure and stick to companies with good fundamentals. I also mostly invest in aim, not sure if that's wise or not it's certainly bit for the faint hearted.
I have decided to reduce some of my other shares and bank some profits in January and make fox marble my biggest investment. I'm going to try and put 30-35k worth in my isa and hold them.
The bad points about fox are the delays, the block marble deals are not going to do anything other than pay the bills and keep the lights on, and finished marble deals are an unknown, what sort if demand is there?
The good points though are this factory should be up and running by summer. I expect there to be a constant stream of deals after that, hopefully some at very high margins, and a concentration on finished marble deals rather than block marble.
I think Chris and the team have done well to secure all the quarries, a cheap factory and a world class person to bring it all together. I kind of like this management. Reasonable pay and plenty of skin in the game. The only way for them to get rich is to do aggressive dividends and that can only be good for us pi's.
I like the business model. No debt to speak of, very low overheads compared to any other mining and low tech. Most other aim companies stall before they extract anything through lack of cash because they need to raise tens of millions just to get started, and hundreds of millions to gear up we don't. Also a monopoly on some marble. A huge supply that will last thousands of years, so again not like most a mining with short mine life spans.
My prediction is buying fox shares under 20p will not be possible by end of march. Factory erected by then and machinery being installed and after a stream of deals a small dividend will be paid this year with a much higher dividend promised in 2016, which will boost the share price and put fox on the radar.
Always the optimist. Have a good Christmas everyone and good luck with your investments next year.
