I see it in a different light, I thought they had done quite a bit in the last 6-7 months but maybe wait until they raise their forecasts for lojuxta sales again and sell into strength.

That is a nice amount of shares! I have just over half that but I have spread my risk over 7 listed companies. If the share price drops I will add a few more but I think I’m near my risk limit for one company. Reading the fox website about their quarries and factories they said they have the most advanced cnc machine in the Balkans including Greece, and they shipped tiles to the uk and Italy within the first week of it operating so they are definitely ramping up. The company I compared it to in Greece has more equipment in their factory and operate 5 quarries whereas we operate 4 (but have rights to more). But the size of the factories are pretty similar so fox marble can use their cashflow to expand their processing lines as well. I’m pretty relaxed about this. The margins are obviously there they just need to do more with what they have. It’s been a bit quiet on new orders, but if they are fulfilling their existing ones they will be doing just fine. I’m looking forward to the next rns!

http://www.mermeren.com/company.html I flagged this up a few years ago before I sold out of Fox Marble saying I wasn't buying back in until the factory was done. We aren't the only marble company on a stock exchange although this one only has a small free float. Nevertheless because it trades it releases statements to the stock exchange. It is the company that owns the exclusive rights to market "sivec". It is the one that supplied the mosque in Abu Dhabi. And in geographical terms its just round the corner.

I think you will make a very decent profit, this should have been underpinned at 10.5p but you might have to wait a year. I still think h1 won’t be amazing, but much better than 2017. . The quarries didn’t reopen until the start of April, the CNC machine installation was after that and I still think any slabs supplied to uk developments would be on payment terms that might not be recognised until h2. H2 results where operations are weighted should be the catalyst for this to jump, everything should be running at full capacity. I see our Sivec competitor showed a 10 million profit last year and paid out 3 dividends within the year. They only specialise in one stone but just shows what is possible, so I always keep an eye on them. I haven’t seen any sales order book updates off fox recently I hope they knocked it on the head, if sales orders weren’t being enforced why bother counting them up? As a point of interest does anyone know if we are still supplying pisani? I saw the administrators closed their main showroom in feltham and auctioned off marbles there, but they still have pisani wholesale in Matlock advertising all fox’s marbles.

Just 15p more to break even now. I’m not averaging down anymore, but if it’s gets to 220p I think I will take my money and run.

It should be just a question of time, it was a very good deal and the market shrugged it off as being too soon. If they had announced it this year with revenues jumping up and more customers on the books I think the share price would have rocketed. It would be good if we invested in a start up and ended up owning shares in the largest marble company in the world! We can hope.

I remember listening to this a couple of years ago. The stone alliance deal had been released via rns and the share price fell. The general feeling was they can’t even manage their own small operations and sell anything, let alone run 40 quarries. The questions at the end from shareholders also seemed to annoy Chris so as far as I know he never did an interview with share talk again and certainly never left himself open to interviews with unknown questions.

Now we just sit back and wait for sales orders or the interims. Marble is meant to be a little boring!

The last couple of agm statements have been very light on specifics, I expect they will just reiterate current sales orders. What I don�t want to see is any indications of people not paying. Trade and other receivables were nearly a million at the end of the year. As fox don�t recognise a sale until it has been shipped and paid for, I have always wondered what their payment terms are and how much of that will be realised.

I was thinking the same. A lack of liquidity works both wAys. Just had some one in the market at 9.44 sonabbed them but still not much out there.

And not propping up a bar somewhere :) It’s going to be a little slow on news until later this year and the interims. The wildcard could be licensing in more drugs from other companies.

I hope so, they should do. My only concern was pisani going into administration cutting down european sales and Dino marble not coming through to cover the loss. Trying to get more shares there’s not much out there at all. Might need to put another order for 9.25p and see what happens.

My personal prediction is they won't be break even this year. They said 0.5 million in the bank at end of 31st December, and 0.4 million at end of April 2018, but they were expecting another advance payment of 450,000 pounds in early April from the GCC distributor. If that money was received then there was significant cashburn in the winter months. They are heavily reliant at the moment on income from block sales so the winter shut down really hurts. My hope is from May onwards they can generate enough cash month by month to at least break even or generate small amounts of cash. If there are no one offs or fundraises going forward then the accounts will be much clearer. My prediction this year. Sales from Indian will exceed 2 million. GCC and Europe between 0.5 and 1 million each (GCC being the better performer) and China and USA will be flops again. I hope I'm wrong on the last 2 though.

I think we both had the same idea! Shame it was the same day! The 9k buy was mine as well, that forced the ask up, but I got less than half the shares I wanted. I will try again Monday and see what the market throws up. Good luck to you on the 5th.

I got 10k at under 9p early afternoon. Then the market dried up so I put the order in about 1pm. I will check later to see what I got

All will be revealed. Put in a buy order at 9p, hopefully that’s still filling. No doubt they will try and bulk it out with news of orders completed. I’m not really fussed about this update, the end of this year will be much more revealing.

I think the share price should have been underpinned by the GCC investor at 10.5p but if the price keeps falling before tomorrow I won’t complain. Best way to get the word out is fox actually exceeding expectations for a change.
