China disappointing? Surely not. Like others this was my worst investment ever, I still can’t see meaningful sales taking off anytime soon

It will be interesting to see how much cash they can generate, or not, by the end of year update. When winter hits and they are relying solely on the factory to generate cash they could do with a higher balance in reserve. I want to see at least 2 million in revenue in h2. The Chinese deal alone should contribute at least 300k of that.

All we can do now is sit tight and wait for h2 update later this year. Hopefully the seller will clear as well in that time. I’m very relaxed about this and their ability to generate cash over winter with all the new equipment. This is a very different beast from 6 months ago. Year end 31st December 19 will be profitable by all measures and then fundamentals will kick in to support the share price. This year there are too many one offs raising money, capital expenditure and repaying debt. When the results for this year come out there will still be people saying they would have run out of cash if they hadn’t raised money in jan and they would be right. Catch you for the next update!

The 26pc was a mistake. Nearer 96pc it practically doubled year on year. Nice to see you back again but this time you’re wrong. Corner turned.

And finally it’s the one I have been waiting for. Cash has increased from the 289k on 27th July to 454k on the 24th september and no debt taken on.

Another 500k received for another project up front. More money spent on expanding the factory and tile production and production capacity and still cash increased.

They are being very reticent in numbers. Considering the loss narrowed significantly in the first half I’m going to take a punt and say h2 will be significantly profitable and may even make fox profitable for the year at an ebidta level. One thing is fir sure, currently at peak periods they are generating cash. They just need to improve the winter revenues.

Weird one. There have been some pretty good buys recently. It’s also strange the share price fell on small volumes and hasn’t risen on larger ones.

Umm wasn’t there meant to be an update today? Maybe something price sensitive needs to be announced soon and needs to be tied in with that. Or maybe they just slept in!

There may be no numbers for the current half we will see. They are in a much better position than last year, and there should be sales over 4 continents. Again it all depends on how much Selene they can quarry.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing, it would have stopped several placings and speeded things up a couple of years, especially as the Macedonia quarry was good to quarry straight away. There’s definitely the market there for easyhotel with more and more people travelling it should be fine even with premier inn expanding everywhere. If these shares come good I get to retire earlier, but if not I’m not leaving anything to chance. 20pc of my pre tax wage goes into my pension fund anyway. Saying that, if they don’t come good the wife won’t be happy and I’m 20pc down as well, maybe a touch more! I have averaged down slightly to 8.5p so still not good.

Still holding firm unvrkw. I think if I had to buy anything at the moment it would actually be Vodafone. Big dividend and looks sustainable, so the shares look cheap, and a bit of a defensive play as well just in case. I do rate easyhotel though. I think you are right, looks like they held up doing all cut to size stuff this year until they could process it themselves. Otherwise they lose all the margins. Last years cost of sales were over 60pc I think which suggests sending it to Italy was an expensive process. The showroom all in will cost 150k-200k a year I think plus any initial set up costs but I think that should easily pay for itself. It has always surprised me they haven’t penetrated their home market more. Eboracum was a flop and pisani going under didn’t help. Looking forward to the next update on the 25th. Needs to show 300k a month minimum as you said.

Never give out shares to consultants, if you have to use consultants pay them cash! This is usually a small volume traded share so when they start selling a 100000 shares here or there it crashes. You have a million overdraft so use it, make clear it’s a short term thing as you expect to be generating cash shortly, instead of knocking 5 million off the market cap.

Their results are out tomorrow. Leaky ship maybe?

Yep I agree. Actually 3 million euros is a piffling amount really, it’s exasperating they haven’t hit it already. The 900k was the minimum amount fix indicated they would get for processed Sivec at 90 euros a square meter. However 2 caveats, it’s now technically but Sivec it’s Alexandria’s white even though it has the same composition. Also the orders were for huge amounts so further discounting may apply. Even so it can’t be far off. We will see.

It’s free advertising every time an attack like this happens. The worrying thing about ba is the attacks were over a couple of weeks. How were they not identified and stopped sooner?

Yep nothing has changed, they need to deliver. It’s all there to do it. The share price the last 3 months has been disappointing. I’m lashing myself to the wheel and waiting.

Fingers crossed. I just looked at the fox marble pictures on Instagram for this year, I haven’t seen them before. It’s all pretty recent and show a huge surplus of blocks at Syriganë, and good levels at malesheve and prilep as well. Malesheve has progressed even further since the last pictures I saw, it’s quite impressive, they can work over 4 levels now. Roll on the 24th.

Everything should be aligned to report revenue from all sources at the same time. The quarries are running at full steam for block production. There is a large surplus at Syriganë and cervenille already. The weather has been fine. I have watched a few videos on production at malesheve by the workers there. The snow at the end of March was awful but they are well kitted out and are developing the quarry nicely. It looks like the Italian quarry master opened the 2nd bench and then went back to Italy to work on another quarry but he also posted some good pictures of progress. The tile orders were completed in h1 by the 30th June. There was a photo in mid May with the first 1000 done on Facebook. They could knock out the next 9000 in a week if they had to. In addition the cnc machine was fully booked for July with I assume additional orders for other customers. They hired a machine manager on the 30th March solely to oversee this production. If they are only turning over 300k a month I will be very disappointed, it should be more. I don’t want an update saying encouraging, it should be very good this time.

I hope they give us a cash balance figure for near the end of September to show they are generating cash and haven’t raised any more money through loan notes.

Hopefully they have won more large tile orders and the cnc machine is working flat out. That was the key thing from h1 for me.

Lastly some indication that their quarry production has stayed at around 2500t per month since the last update to reach their 20000t target. Last year they only quarried 5000t in h2, this year they need 15000t so it’s a big ask.

No excuses this time the weather has been good and everything is in place.

Fox marbles new premises for their showroom. I hope they negotiated on the price but I'm sure if it generates just a few orders each year it will cover the costs.

One of fox marbles employees posted a picture of himself and the Chinese customers on facebook on the 31st July so they were definitely back buying then!

I'm not too excited on the block marble sales, maybe a necessary evil to get some consistent cashflow at the moment. If they excavated the 20000T of block marble they are targeting this year for sole use at the factory they could turn that into 240000m2 of tiles and slabs. At last years average price that would be nearly 17 million euros in revenue and we would be talking about exceptional dividends.
