Philosophical could be right on his forecasts for this year and next. It’s not unfeasible as fox marble seem to be playing their cards close to their chests. Deals they would have shouted from the rooftops about last year they are releasing quietly along with interim updates. The Alexandria white and illirico dives could be absolute stars. It’s going to be interesting.

It’s a profit warning. Can’t see how they can breakeven this year on those results. We were expecting closer to 3 million than 2.2 million. And they need cash fast. They only had 69k in the bank on 30th September with receivables and payables about the same amount. They would need a massive upturn in trading since then to break even on a month by month basis. Poor.

I think I would need to see when they get back in the quarries first. If they are potentially pulling out 2500 tonnes of block per working month it makes a big difference to the bottom line.

I see where you are coming from. The revenues in the current 6 months would nearly be the same as 2016 and 2017 combined.

But the numbers from last year were underwhelming and they still did 1.2 million of revenues. Just 4631 tonnes of block material and 5000m2 of processed material sold, so this year would have to be a complete pigs ear not to substantially beat that. I think Unvrkw is right and a lot of revenue we hoped would be booked in h1 will come in h2. Those 10500m2 of tiles for starters.

If we have a huge miss its either the quarries not producing or previous customers strangely disappearing again and not taking their orders. Fox don't help themselves. For instance what was the point of announcing a 1.8 million per annum deal with Mahadev from March 2017 when the quarries blatantly were not in a position to supply the quantities they needed? It makes a mockery of RNS releases.

I may be totally wrong but I think its a secondary market for shares even though fox is listed on the lse. I would be interested if anyone knows for sure.

I had exactly the same thing with some of my trades not showing up on lse but they did show up on the nex exchange.

Up to 31st Decemebr 2017 they did 14000m2 of processed and quarried 8812 tonnes of block marble. They will easily smash that.

I think they will hit the 20000T target until the end of this year. The blocks quarried average 20T in weight so that's only 1000 blocks they need to extract or just 4 blocks per day over 8 months of operation. Its hard to envisage from the pictures of the quarry but that seems doable. Likewise the 40000m2 of processed material seems realistic as they can do that in a month working non stop.

2019 could be far more as the quarries are enlarged and the factory is fully functional so your 5.5million target could easily happen.

Still hoping we get a pre Christmas update. They must know rough numbers by then.

The weather has been perfect all summer. A couple of days with light showers but apart from that unblemished sunshine at Malesheva. The quarry looks good so fingers crossed that translates into volume and a late December shutdown. Preferably Christmas Eve!

Whatever the final number is I hope the company releases a trading statement at the end of the year. They could give a rough estimate of what they expect revenues to be. Reiterate that even though the quarries are shut the factory will be operational throughout spring and that cut to size demand remains strong. It would come across as a far better run company if they could do that rather than releasing a statement in May the following year.

Yep. I took some money off the table with bt and amryt and bought a few more fox. But still sitting on cash at the moment as well. These falls in the last couple of weeks across the board have been very interesting. I’m just sitting tight now. I won’t be selling anytime soon i still think fox will be profitable next year.

A bit above you unvrkw. Just over 860000. Went for an average down and I think I have done the right thing. As notmuchinsales mentioned this half year should give a real indication of what is possible.

Fox indicated Alexandria white sells for a minimum of 90 euros per square meter. Of course they might have discounted it by more than that to win orders. If they didn’t discount 10500m2 of tiles it would be worth nearly a million euros. We won’t know until the end of this year report when they show average selling prices. It did worry me they hadn’t mentioned this again but in the last interview Chris was talking of the large amount of stones they had to ship from prilep to the factory for orders, so that was good. And seeing that architect show all those tiles in May on Facebook was good. There had to be a 1000 there easily. Just need another 28000 of them.... Large tiles orders, large block orders and a lot of smaller orders all bodes very well. Looking at the photos of malesheve it doesn’t look like they have removed the hundreds of Selene blocks they need to to fulfill orders. It still looks fairly small scale. Will they hit this 20000tonne target? I’m not sure. I’m not buying or selling either. Happy to wait.

Unfortunately we have the same problem, very little liquidity in the shares. Tiny volumes are bringing this down again. We need a storming update to rerate this and keep it there.

If you think that looks good check out Astrit g citaku, an architect, on Facebook. He took some pictures in May 2018 of the factory and some of the tiles being produced for the 2 orders totalling 10500m2 (about 29000 tiles were needed by my reckoning). His relative endrit citaku, also on Facebook, was appointed manager for all the gmm machinery from Italy on March 30th 2018. And this is why notmuchinsales I believe fox marble will meet that target and more in the future. It also explains why they need an additional dedicated tile line....I’m not sure how many tiles are in Astrit’s final picture, but quite a few. I imagine a fair chunk of June would have been needed to finish the rest, but they definitely had the blocks lined up outside to do it.
