Latest auto DMS video from Jungo, which appears to confirm it doesn't work thru sunglasses (reading for 'Eyes' goes to unknown at 17s. Demo is running on NXP i.MX6 @ 35fps. No eye gaze tracking either. Really behind SoTA from @SmartEyeAB @seeingmachines

Fleet business

We got three of these just before the last RNS. I'm sceptical abut this code theory but have seen it seem to work, whether just coincidence or not.

They do talk in the Nvidia 80km article about refinements leading to 'significant reductions in power usage' but from a starting point of currently using 133 - 166 x the power of our xilinx system, they have got some serious work to do and sounds like it will never be on a par.

I would be more concerned about it just being for testing if it weren't for the built in unit on the steering column. I doubt they have made those moulded parts just for a few test cars. Let's hope not anyway!

Woah great find! 36 and 39 secs. LH steering wheel has very familiar little unit on top of the steering column, a la GM and that looks like a fovio test unit on top of dash behind the other RH wheel!

TBH I'm not sure I fully understand this one in my tired and hungover state.

That raises an interesting question GB2, in how much were they involved in the production and sourcing for G2? I had assumed they were already taking care of this stuff.

the lost likely imminent (positive) news will be the arrangements for licensing Guardian and the accompanying cash injection. I can't see that taking too long as they won't want to interrupt supply too much. The various DWs - it's hard to say as they don't need to announce anything till the contracts are actually signed. Could be today, could be 2019.
I am confident in 6 months we will be way north from here. What happens in the short term is up for grabs and depends very much on that deal and how long it takes. There is also the possibility that a suitor takes advantage of the market conditions for a bid.
