Seeing. Agree gentex mirror in both vids. however I think the mirror may be a red herring as it matches the gentex self-dimming pics. I'm intrigued by what looks like a piece of masking tape on the pod over the steering wheel in vid one.

Looks like that mirror in 2nd vid is Gentex. We assumed SEYE would get the Gentex mirror but you seem to think it's Tobii. Are there any RNS's to confirm they have a relationship?

Agree that the second video is not the Magna mirror. It still doesn't mean it's Tobii as SM also integrate via other means and BMW has not been Magna mirror till now but via QC and Valeo. This is a new mirror to me. Who knows if the little LED pod is by SEYE, SEE or TOBII. Could be they are dual sourcing as the first vid is definitely the Magna mirror. As usual, nothing conclusive either way. At least Tobii are releasing KPI's now so we can see how far behind they are in numbers, unlike SEYE.

Too soon to be Tobii. If they win designs for that system it will be for 2027/8. I expect they will announce design wins soon. I take them more seriously than SEYE as a future competitor.

SEE and Magna are already adding to V2 of the mirror, as announced some time ago. SEYE are only adding it to Fleet product. They are not first. Not by a long chalk.

Yes, it will help confidence but probably not much for SP. KPI's are more important and, though it will probably not be a massive improvement in Aug, it should point the way as lots of VW models etc come on line for 2nd half of CY 25. Personally I think a good Magna deal and some Mitsu sales would move us more quickly towards break even and therefore more likely to lift SP.

Full year prelims were end Aug last year. KPI's due early Aug.

I expect Magna update first as our deal expires in 13 working days. Also hoping for orders via Mitsu prior to August. Unlike siezure I am not especially concerned about more design wins as they will be for years out. everything to end 2026 is awarded already. A couple of extensions maybe due.

Uncertainty about the performance of DMS across all brands and from all DMS providers will be settled definitively by Euro NCAP - For Safer Cars, Vans & Trucks when 2026 models are scored according to the new #NCAP26 schema, which takes effect starting in January. Anecdotal evidence suggests many #OEMs were wrong footed by the step change in requirements for driver state monitoring in the NCAP26 schema compared to NCAP23. The threshold for a 5-star rating is set to get a lot more demanding, and many models will be ineligible because of decisions made about DMS procurement in years prior. Will OEMs learn from this, or will history repeat itself for NCAP29?

Not that it is particularly relevant but the rumour was stated by several in the know people and explained the rise to 12p on no news. The offer was never made official as it was made clear it was not going to be enough for large SH s to accept.

That's pretty much what he says. When we are in profit and have more fleet contracts for near term cash and more design awards for future certainly we should be a lot higher than 2.4p and that's when offers might be made.

Loads of complaints with SEYE in Volvo too. BMW didn't even turn it on and then switched to SEE.
