that the SP is at a slightly less stupid low, I have time to reflect and rationalise. Seems plenty of us now agree that, if Ken is not trying to suppress the SP deliberately, he is at east doing a damn good impersonation of it. That said, what could possibly be his motivation? I can only think of 2. One is that he doesn't want the SP getting ahead of itself as this might encourage volatility. I think we can see from today's display that this, if it is the reason, is not working. I also doubt that this SP could be classed as 'frothy' by anyone other than Eeyore himself in view of the orders and contracts we have in place.
The only other explanation I can think of is something alluded to by GB2, who has proven a good judge of all things SEE. That Ken has a takeover arranged, at a lower than we might like SP which will ensure a comfy ride for him and his key staff. It seems far fetched with Ken having lots of options on shares and recently handing them out for (non) performance but what else can we think? Xilinx has had many staff placed with the company for sometime and so they must be fave for the TO.
Why not now? could it be that once bought, certain other OEM's and clients may go elsewhere rather than buy from a competitor? Could it be that Ken is manoeuvring us into a corner where, like S7 we clamour for a buy out at 20 - 30p? I think it was Safestocks that said anything under 30p would be criminal?
In conclusion, after all this seeming negativity, Our MCap is way below 200 mill and we have lots of ip, data and huge orders so any buy out, even engineered to the nth degree MUST see a 3 bagger from here minimum.
All IMO and look forward to hearing the views from other LTH.
