Programmatic ads once adopted by the largest agencies in the USA could see this turn around very quickly from a low revenue to snowballing revenue. Costs are running at 700k a month now, so it doesn't need many nationwide big brand ad campaigns at 20-30% margin to cover that. The ad industry spends billions trying to reach audiences.
Power generation
Six years ago, Petronas signed an agreement with the Sarawak government to supply it a total of 450 MMcfd of natural gas for power generation and state-owned petrochemical industries.
In 2021, the company signed another memorandum of understanding to increase gas supply to Sarawak to 1.2 billion cubic feet per day.
Petronas has not yet responded to an Upstream inquiry as to which fields currently supply and would in future supply these gas volumes to the Sarawak-based customers.
“The development of BAGSF-2 marks another significant milestone in our commitment to working together with the Sarawak State Government for the sustainable growth of its oil and gas industry,” Petronas chief executive Tengku Muhammad Taufik said.
“Once on stream, BAGSF-2 will create new value-adding activities for Sarawak’s hydrocarbon resources, supporting the state’s aspiration for its petrochemicals and domestic power industry. We look forward to building on the strong partnership with the state government in developing Sarawak’s resources for the mutual prosperity of the state and the nation.”
“The recently published PETRONAS Activity Outlook (PAO) 2023-2025 remains positive with PETRONAS committed to increase its capex to RM300 billion over the next five years in its efforts to cater for additional investment in its core business and the energy transition plan,” added the company.
Lots happening here - the weird offer nonsense will become background blip after a period of no-doubt trading turmoil with people chading their own agendas.
There’s a lot of us in the same boat.
At from near zero here as well after a series of investments that turned south despite promises from the BoD each time.
The positives at UPL are still in play, Sarawak is an area of interest (longboat energy recently upped its presence nearby) and the region holds 50 % Malaysia gas reserves with the Chinese very keen to see it out of the ground.
The world’s largest LNG facility is nearby too making piping & processing plans easier than it might be if elsewhere.
The SP is insanely volatile.
News is due soon on volumetrics and rig.
I can see why so many got excited about a TO because it’s a perfectly possible future for UPL once they confirm the plans.
Doom and gloom mongers always love this as they see the opportunity. They are here to get their low entry.
Bidstack helped define the metrics in IGA. They’ve been involved in trail with MS and Sony. Top table, exclusive deals with EA, featured on Unity, showing ads in Madden etc etc
Share price is a gift for anyone with the cash.
risk / reward is attractive though IMO
Look at the sector
Look at the stats
Look at the positioning
Look at the tech stack
Look at the connections in the industry
Look at the global links already in place
.... there's next to zero risk here now the funding is through and the sales ramping up.
You really think a team joining would leave soon after?
That's quite a confidence trick - portraying a rosey future without the evidence might work on one or two people, but not a whole team. AdColony staff know the industry. It's a sign of quality that they've joined Bidstack IMO.
You've got to be sure you've nailed it to double your salary. I see it as a hint to the market that everything is going to be great from here on - time to join the bigger players with a salary to match, in case of TO approaches.
