Baylo, another disappointing Swedish politician, and I wonder if that is actually a requirement for the role of any minister. To be disappointing already, which then so enables the chance of being selected.

We know Baylan wouldn't meet with Kurt, so Kurt getting himself on the panel of a conference Baylan is attending, within sniffing distance (think wolf lol), is the next best thing.

Doubt if Bayls will be keen to stay too long though.

May be a small detail, Kurt omitting from the RNS the specific addressee within the Government, but could be an important detail. Tactical I must hope, not simply careless reporting to shareholders.

Just a point re Kurt's Statement. Notably we are told that it has been issued to the Government, but Kurt didn't say to whom specifically within the Government. The PM perhaps, big Stef, but I feel it won't have been to old Baylan, in view of his somewhat inadequate reply to our previous correspondence.

Going over Baylo's head then? Dunno, but if so, my thoughts are yeah, good, and why not! Lol.

Some good posts about Kurt's Statement. Let's see what happens now then. I hope Baylan doesn't sit on his hands. Important for Kurt to follow this up, if nothing is forthcoming from the Government in a month. The Company is still waiting indefinitely otherwise, and so are we shareholders, neither of which should be part of any business plan. Unlimited time and unlimited patience. Lol. No, I don't think so.

Hopefully that was only a first step by Kurt. The Government surely is already fully capable of knowing whether an application is sound or not, so the statement, although a reminder to the authorities, is still not really bringing our Company a date for the decision. That, I feel, should perhaps be the next correspondence to the Government, referencing today's statement, should there be further delay, a month say, insofar as if a decision is still not forthcoming by then.

The hints from Kurt are there, the legal view of our applicaton is clear, but Baylan won't see today's news as anything that will expedite a decision, in my opinion. Simply because it is only a point in the right direction from Kurt, and not an ultimatum.

Only my thoughts.

Yes, I want Kurt to do more now, because the waiting period for us has been stretched by the Government to the acutely ridiculous (quite some time ago) and this is wholly unacceptable. Not sure if Baylan feels any strain whatsoever though, with the delivery of decisions something that appears to be unimportant. Ha ha.

I appreciate what you say about the media. Lots of things happening in Sweden that gain precedent over mining news. Rightly so.

I do hope that the old ghost of Clive past doesn't pop up to haunt us again, but some folks still no doubt purposely switch off to what Kurt has been consistently mentioning, regarding his plans for the future of the project, particularly with the plan for inclusion of all communities
being an important factor for us, everyone to then share the benefits of a green mining project.

I realise some will never want that, but we can only do our bit.

The politics at play here would have sunk many a ship, yet we remain afloat. For now. Lol.

"Forthcoming" was over a month ago. I'd like more specifics now from Kurt, on just what is happening with the Government, as in, for him to seek a detailed reason as to why there's still the delay over our case. What stage is the dossier at, etc. We can't keep waiting until the next presentation or conference, to see if we are lucky enough to be discussed.

We now have over 600 million shares in issue, so it's vital that Kurt delivers on Kallak this year, if he is to keep throwing money at Vardar. We need the sp up.

Dwindling our investment is. As Yoda might say.

Sooz, great point. We haven't heard anything further re the contents from Kurt, so not sure whether the Government has made public his letter. It's likely also that one of our kindly Swedish investors would have posted such info on here for us. We saw the contents from Göran to Bayls, so where is Kurt's detailed effort?

The Government is hiding it. Bottom o' pile like. Lol.

The thing is, I'm not sure Bayls feels under any pressure at all. Hence our lack of priority in this priority period.

I wish we knew who informed Kurt of the priority for our case though. Shame that Kurt won't give shareholders those kind of specifics.

Hi Sooz. Kurt can't force the Government to do anything, no, but surely an International Court could? We can't be left dangling indefinitely for a decision, and as an investor in Sweden, we must have certain rights of protection, being that our business is directly reliant on officially issued licences on behalf of the State. Unfortunately for us, Baylan and his predecessor have not yielded to acute embarrassment over the shambolic, and done anything to swiftly rectify the problem. Either for us or anyone else. So it appears.

I feel we need more information from Kurt now on where we are up to precisely with this decision. He was fobbed off by Baylan and seems to have accepted it, but I certainly want to know the details of why he hasn't found Baylan's response unacceptable, or, if he actually has, what our next move is.

Thanks Andy. Kurt must push Baylan further then, if he is to bring our wait to an end. The priority being given to the application by the Government is now into its seventh month. Unbelievable.

Can you imagine if it hadn't have been prioritised? Would we see any difference? Lol.
