Aaaaargh. He hasn't yet secured the concession for us though and has instead invested significantly, repeatedly and with each block in quick succession, in Vardar, with money that we could have raised and saved for use on our primary project, even for possible legal action. Now Vardar is consolidated into BEM, it looks like we will also be paying their admin fees going forward, as well as our own, in line with the controlling interest scenario. All extra money that will be raised via further significant dilution at the expense of current shareholders, for as long as we are without the concession permit and continue to have a very low sp/market cap. One could argue that he has created a potential money pit or financial drain of his own making, but is is we who will be left footing the bill, with the Vardar projects early stage and high cost. Who else funds Vardar? Can we get out of putting further money in? Doubtful now isn't it?

He and the team have gone above and beyond what is required in the Kallak application process, no doubt, but in terms of Kurt turning the screw on the Swedish authorities to force them into giving a decision, it could be said that he has been slow on the uptake. Not clinically probing enough in his line of questioning. We've been repeatedly given the brush off with only generalities given by Baylan, which have not been thrown back at him. Kurt has not managed to gain specific information and really put Baylan on the spot. We legally merit a concession award, so he should surely be demanding it now, or specifics as to when, or why not, after nearly seven years of inexcusable treatment by the Swedish powers that be.

Kurt is a top bloke, but I feel your argument is flawed. He can do better, in my humble, there is always room to improve one's performance by examining the current showing from a different angle or perspective. Still no concession, what can I do differently? Moreover, £3k a week is a whole lot of money for anyone to be paid. Don't forget the options since Kurt came on board and the fantastic pension pot. A bloody decent pay package overall.

Lol. The further my average gets away from me Sooz, the flakier I seem to become. I'm not impressed with Baylan by any stretch. He's all wheels and no cannon. Lol. Talks the talk while the reality within Sweden is that their application process for mining permits is more akin to a country that really has no mining history or industrial heritage whatsoever. A thousand years of mining, wow! No doubt it must have been generations of the same family over a thousand years in total, waiting for just one permit to be given.

I feel we deserve more information from Kurt. If nobody else is bothered, I'd still like to know, and I believe it is appropriate, just why the decision was made not to take legal action at this stage. Based on what new evidence? I also have concerns about the next fundraise and the sp. Moreover, if we are apparently the sole backer of Vardar, how did that entity exist to begin with? Lol. No matter, I really don't want Kurt throwing any more cash their way, while the Kallak issue remains unresolved.

I am currently sitting on a holding valued at one third of its original cost, after almost a decade of holding, so I want some answers from Kurt. He should at the very least be pressing Baylan for an official reply as to what the specific delay is, who is causing it, is the applicaton still sat on the same desk etc. We possibly know already who is throwing the spanner in the works, but if we have it in writing, bearing in mind we legally merit a concession and this is being ignored, it becomes more difficult for the Government to remain evasive. If Baylan doesn't respond with specifics now, and he hasn't done so far, then I believe we need to take a legal approach.

Kurt, in my opinion, is also now treading a fine line with some shareholders. Myself included. He may be frustrated, but there's a need to start demanding answers, and perhaps spell it out to Baylan that, due to its wholly unacceptable treatment by the Government, and spanning many years, the Company will be left with no other option but to commence legal proceedings and sue for damages, if there isn't an end date now put in place by him to bring this licence debacle to a close.

That's how strongly I feel about this situation. I'd rather we stood up for ourselves than continue to allow the Government to operate in this manner, hiding behind generalities. Our market cap is only shrinking, the longer we play the waiting game. This is a fact, and if there is news that Kurt could bring us right now, we should have it.

I completely agree with Pocko about our current position, because we are going nowhere fast and burning cash unnecessarily at Vardar, while the sp is dredging the depths.

Pocko, sorry for the typos. I'm trying to juggle eldercare with posting, so am rushing here.

The continuing licence problem will obviously be felt again when Kurt needs to raise further funds for working capital and to support the Vardar venture, if we still haven't received the Kallak decision. At what price will he be raising these funds if the decision doesn't come before we need more cash? The sp is on its backside as it is, in my opinion.

That's another concern for me, considering my average and what is unfortunately nowadays a high one, on the back of Swedish incompetence. Kurt is being paid extremely well, so I want him to squeeze Baylan for more information, in order that he can then explain to shareholders where specifically, within this supposed process, our case is being held up. As in, I wish to know just who is responsible for preventing the legal obligation that the Government has to Beowulf from being fulfilled. The Government cannot simply be continually in the state of "preparing" the decision. That is both far too general and far too convenient, for those who may not want to actually get on with it.

Pocko, it won't be long before I'll be kicking and screaming. Lol.

Yes, but again, we don't know why it was decided that we are doing nothing yet. No legal route. The whiff of a discussion about potential legal action prompted an almost immediate response to our last letter to Baylan, one which he may otherwise have never replied to, so maybe, just maybe, Kurt is holding off for that reason. Is a decision by the Government now actually being taken? Has Kurt heard more than he's currently telling us? I don't like not knowing the reason as to why he's decided simply to continue waiting, but I must trust there is one.

Frustrating though, and I agree with you. If my average wasn't a whopping 13.5p, I wouldn't be torturing myself. Is have sold in the name of serenity. Lol.

Pocko, what we don't know, is why he was advised not to at the recent Board meeting. No action based on what latest information? We do know that words have so far meant nothing from either Baylan or Damnerg, by way of those words resulting in the necessary action to bring us the decision. Forget timely, that horse has long since bolted.

Thanks for the tip Geo, much appreciated. I'll take a look at it, but all of my money is unfortunately tied up here, so it would mean selling. I couldn't do that after such a time invested, if only because it has become a mental battle which I'm determined not to lose. You are right though, I am very unhappy with how this has gone, and really, how it has been allowed to drift into this situation.

Sooz. You mentioned a most important thing there. No, you did, honestly. Lol. The Government still doesn't respond with any specific reason for the delay,. Well, perhaps this is because it simply hasn't got one that would be credible. In the absence of a specific reason, which could then at least be offered as an excuse, it's surely best to say nothing, which is what has been occurring (aside from Baylan being forced, by Kurt's whiff of legal, into the latest response), in an effort to avoid spotlighting the Government's disgraceful and shameful treatment of our Company.

Sooz, you probably won't agree with this, but if we reach our seventh full year of waiting, and it isn't far off, without having heard anything further from Baylan or Stef, then I feel Kurt could use that particular milestone in time lapse to write again to Baylan and give him an ultimatum. A time by which the decision must be given, or we will be left with no option, in spite of how accommodating we've been, to begin legal proceedings.

It does appear that an ultimatum is required Sooz, unbelievably it's necessary, and if our application legally merits the concession award, which it apparently does, then it shouldn't hold any weight that the Sami, although they obviously may not be happy with the idea of us pushing for a decision, will then attempt to pull out their "bias" trump card. After seven years of lost progress for us, and a financial black hole because of it, due to the absolutely inept performance of the Government(s) in our case, certainly nobody can point to this process as being biased in our favour. Far from it.

The decision is overdue by six years, so let's have it. Let's not sit back, or we know what might happen. Nothing.

Only my thoughts, and I do admit, I also want to see the Swedes taken to task over their incompetent handling of our case, even when a decision is finally given. It won't do, in my opinion, for them just to give a positive decision after all this time, then all is forgiven. I believe we undoubtedly merit compensation for the unnecessary damage inflicted upon us over these years of waiting.

Good idea Pocko, then our interests would be better protected, more transparency, more accountability. A rising sp there would also then probably impact positively on our own. Let's face it, our sp has never yet improved (as far as I can remember) as a result of any decent news from the Kosovo interest. So listing Vardar would be beneficial, or at least, it would be something different for Kurt to try, in order to better convey the message of how promising the projects are. Vardar's success would then be linked to our success and vice-versa.

Or complete failure. Lol.

Not sure. I feel the letter from Baylan's office bought them even more time, even though the contents of said letter were more of the same. I reckon Kurt might have started legal proceedings had that letter not materialised.

Only my thoughts on it, but it isn't quite hot pursuit yet either, in my opinion Sooz. I'd prefer Kurt to be more acutely direct, specifically asking Baylan what the hold up is, if Baylan won't give a date. We must consider that investors were informed our application was being prioritised some ten months ago.

We aren't taking legal action, but I desire more of the squirm factor to be applied. Lol.

We mustn't forget the brass necks of some of these politicians. If they can get away with talking a big game then being useless on purpose, they will. For the benefit of others.

No legal action yet, fair enough, but it means we are currently still accepting the latest fob off response from Baylan's office. Perhaps while we wait indefinitely, Kurt can work out how much compensation he should still seek from the Government, for our lost progress and earnings, even if a concession licence is awarded.

The Swedish Govenment can't almost destroy our Company beyond measure then grant a licence and all is forgiven. Instead of us looking at £s on the sp, we are surely, because of Government ineptitude in our case over many years, now looking at only pence. Dilution four fold since our wait began.

If we do receive the licence, I want additional damages included, should LKAB solely want Kallak in their portfolio. A premium price for such a gem of a deposit, plus compensation.

As for Kosovo, bad move throwing more money in right now. Tiny percentage in return as well today, and Vardar appear to be spending it just like they were running water.

We can't afford another fundraise at these levels Kurt. Come on, keep the cash tightly clutched.

Nothing has changed really then has it? We are taking no action to press Baylan, and instead, I feel must be relying on the recent letter received as being a wake up call for him. But the general response in that letter means nothing, in my opinion, and now the pressure is off of course, because we haven't yet decided to take legal action. At what point will that decision from Kurt's team to take action be necessary though, should we hear nothing again from Baylan's office in the foreseeable? How long is Baylan getting? Lol.

On a personal note, I don't appreciate having no explanation as to why we are not, at this stage, doing anything further. Perhaps we would have taken action if that letter from Baylan's office had not have been produced within hours of the announcement of our Stockholm meeting. I don't know, but the contents of the letter are still wishy-washy anyway. In my view.

Kurt, I believe, could provide more details then. I'd much prefer it. The whole situation is driving me bonkers, because we still have no exact details from the Government, what precisely it is doing, or from BEM, as to why we aren't taking legal action at this stage, even though Baylan is continuing to show complete disregard for our Company and its position, until he happens to be bludgeoned into a response.
