Sooz, it is so drab really though. It would be great if we could be drilling the Autumn planned programme on the back of a concession award, but it looks like Kurt may have to take steps in order to push the Government into upholding its own laws. It's no good, this continuing limbo, with no end in sight.

I'm not happy tonight. Another week of nothingness having passed here.

Kurt could update us on whether Baylan bothered to reply to his 2 June letter. I want to know that we aren't just sat on our hands and still waiting on an inactive Government. If Kurt is waiting on the KU investigation, then I'd like to know that. He's telling us nothing about the current state of play, or his intentions. I feel it's time for an update.

He surely won't have given the assets away for nothing. He must have somehow benefited from doing so.

The man shouldn't be allowed to operate anywhere near the business sector, and in our case, he has proven to be the worst liability we've ever had. He's lost us all of our money, barring an absolute miracle occurring.

Thanks Juicy. The more these politicians talk up the best green practices for their country, the more cringeworthy and laughable it is that, after seven years and two months, we are still awaiting a decision on the concession licence for our clean and green mining operation.

Good points Juicy. You are right about too many ifs and buts. I don't suppose Kurt is going to tell us whether he's waiting for the KU investigation, but the feeling I get about Baylan is that he just won't bring us a decision. All in all, as we've now been waiting for so very long, it's been a terribly poor and damning show from Sweden. I expect the Government will find it difficult to admit or accept failure of any kind, as in, for our mistreatment in the process. We are still waiting now because of politics and it appears that embarrassment and shame are not felt enough within Government walls to warrant the necessary action required to fix this broken application process. It seems to just be talked about.

You might be right there Juicy. In February Kurt decided not to pursue a legal case, we don't know what was advised exactly, but the Government knowing that we were having such a meeting hasn't sent too much of a shockwave. Over four months later and we've heard nothing RNSable back from Baylan. Is Kurt now waiting for the KU? Not sure, but if he is, supposing the KU investigation keeps getting put back, where does that leave us?

Action, though not necessarily of a legal nature, could, I feel, be considered, regardless of whether the KU investigates sooner or later. We already know that waiting for all these years has got us nowhere, except further in a financial hole, via dilution at low sp levels. I mentioned sending an official complaint to the Swedish PM, it's an option, and it might touch on our less than satisfactory treatment under Baylan's watch.

Only my thoughts, but maybe it's time to find a way of bypassing the Government's inertia. Pointing to politics as the main culprit.

Hi. No, I think that's a terrible idea. Undermining Kurt and all of his work to date is the last thing we want to do.

In my opinion it is best leaving the decision on any potential legal action to him. He is our representative, the one with the inside knowledge and information about all matters surrounding our application. We aren't privy to such, especially any verbal communications he may have had with Baylan.

TFE. The drilling could still be included in the PACIFIC funding of course, because in order to complete this stage, as you say, the drilling has to run parallel with the rest of the work.

Kurt should clarify, for the avoidance of doubt.

Evening Aug. Kurt can perhaps point to exactly that, the politics at play in this process, continually hampering any decision from being made, and he could start making demands to the PM now, for the conclusion of this dreadful saga.

I feel it would be the final straw if such a situation were to arise that required the resubmission of our application. Nuclear option must be taken at that point.

Yes, I can see that as well, upon reading it again. We don't know how much of that EU money is allocated to us, and/or how much the drilling will cost, if we need 'X' amount to fund it. Oh bugger it, I was hoping it was straightforward, that the drilling would be included via PACIFIC, then any further drilling funded by us.

I agree, Kurt could expand on this, breaking down the costs for us.

I feel we could and should still consider lodging the complaint though, regardless of what the KU may do, because I believe we should take the view now that we can only really depend on what we do. Considering the failings by the various authorities already in this process. It will surely be more eye-opening if we've made an official complaint by the time the KU looks at the situation with Kal and submits its own observations on the matter.

Hi TFE. Yes, looks like we won't need any additional funding for this next line of drilling exploration, due to our Kal project being one of two chosen by the EU funded Pacific project. After that though, he'll obviously have to raise funds if we decide to drill the iron beast further.

He won't give up 3card, he's said as much, but what we don't know is how much or how little he's pushing for a decision at the moment. I would trust, in the absence still of even a likely decision date from Baylan, that Kurt is continuing doggedly on our behalf, in the pursuit of further clarity as to just what the hell is going on.

We have a new drilling program to look forward to this year on Kal, news of which has hopefully ruffled a few feathers. Lol.
