Aug, we've not had a meaningful update on our application state of play since February, when we decided not to take legal action. I feel we are due one, and it would be good to know also if Baylan bothered to respond to Kurt's letter of 2 June.

Even MW has had enough, which is a pity, but regular updates on Kal would help to retain interest, and perhaps keep hold of more shareholders. Particularly as our situation is serious enough to have warranted the February meeting to discuss the possibility of taking legal action.

An update is more of a necessity now, in my opinion. All things previous considered.

Sorry that you've had enough. I can't blame you.

Exploitation concession

A concession is valid for a definite area, decided on the basis of the extent of the deposit, the purpose of the concession and other circumstances. A concession has to be granted if a mineral deposit has been found which can probably be exploited economically.

The Environmental Code is applicable in matters concerning the granting of a concession, which means, among other things, that an Environmental Impact Assessment has to be contained in an application.

An exploitation concession is granted for a period of 25 years unless the applicant requests a shorter period of time. The concession period is extended by ten years at a time without application if regular exploration is in progress when the period of validity expires. When mining, the holder of an exploitation concession must pay an annual minerals fee to the landowners of the concession area and the state. The fee is 2 parts per thousand (i.e 0.2%) of the average value of the concessions minerals mined, 1.5 part per thousand of which is paid to the landowners to be distributed among them in proportion to their share of the concession area. The remaining 0.5 parts per thousand (0.05%) is paid to the state to be used for research and development in the field of sustainable development of mineral resources.

Sorry to hear about what happened in VOG. Pretty rubbish that. I'm trusting here that Kurt means what he says, and it's because of Covid, in line with helping the Company out during a testing time globally. He has just extended his Option period for the 9 million shares, so if you look at it that way, he's still doing well out of us, in spite of the pay cut, and he won't now have any drilling programme to add to his workload.

I'm wanting news from him on Kal now though, because it isn't on, this lengthy period of silence on it. We decided back in February not to take legal action then, but what has changed from the Swedish side since. to warrant our continuing to wait, what still seems indefinitely.

Hi 3card. This is from Kurt's comments in the RNS of 29 May 2020, Unaudited Financial Results:

"Since my attendance at the Nordic Mining Day in Toronto in early March, the Company has acted to face the ongoing threat posed by COVID-19, as best we can, including 30 percent salary cuts for the CEO and Board, and sought to maintain a 'business as usual' attitude."

He mentions cuts, not deferrals.

We can only see. Lol.

Hi Roller. I haven't emailed him of late, but I have emailed him previously. I'll always contact him by phone now though, not via email, as he prefers that, particularly if you have a lot of questions. It's much better speaking with him over the phone actually, because you then also get his vibe.

An official update via RNS is better still though. Then we might not feel the need to contact him, and really, we shouldn't have to. Lol.

I'd like to know whether Kurt has received any response to his letter of 2 June to Baylan. Moreover, I think an update is appropriate now anyway, because it's five months since we decided not to take legal action, and five months extra that Baylan has had to resolve the matter, yet still we've heard nothing.

Let's fill in the time gap and information void please Kurt.

Evening Sooz. Yes, I do agree re the bb. That itself has been great. Well, for the most part. I didn't enjoy those defensive onslaught exchanges with Breca. Lol. He was right though, he obviously knew more than I did about the Swedish mindset. But it's certainly been fun on here at times, and we've made friends.

Good point about the coalition and the delay. Perhaps if the percentage of non-AIM holders reaches 70%, then we may see a decision? Why is the delay being allowed by the other parties? Dunno.

It's the investment that's been difficult, not fun. For me anyway.

I trust that Kurt hasn't reduced his workload by 30%, in line with his temporary wage cut. He has to keep on at Baylan or bypass the man if necessary.

Another change of Government or even a ministerial reshuffle, well, I'm not sure it will make too much difference. Our application has festered that long, because the responsibility for concluding the case has been dodged continually, under a couple of Governments . As Kurt has said, Kallak is not a complex issue, yet Baylan deems it so, in order that he can dodge the decision and any backlash that comes from granting the concession.

Never mind the law and upholding it. Lol.

What a load of old crap we've been fed. We mustn't also forget, that supposedly our case was being prioritised, ooh, about fifteen months ago.

I'd like Kurt to update us on Kal Sooz, to see if the KU is the only thing we can look to at the moment.

I'm not finding this fun, not one bit. I do have a high average though and don't trade, I daren't try it, so for me the waiting is a constant worry and also mind-numbingly dull at the same time. I'm not sure how you can call it fun, but it's certainly a ride. I kind of just want to wring a few necks now though. Lol.

Sooz, I see what you mean, but we don't take part as an official party, getting a huge amount of shares a at heavily discounted price. We don't really take part in the placing, we only pick up a few shares if we can, on any resultant price drop, if there is one.

I haven't had any spare money for years, so each round of dilution is a killer. Still averaging 13.5p. I do doubt at times if I'll break even, the way things 'aren't' going.
