RE: Oh No We Don't...4 May 2021 14:50
I fully agree with that, and the problem for us may always be the margins within the coalition. Although the PM squeeked into his post last time, he is the figurehead of the country, so my thinking was to write to him and see what he can do. I don't feel we can wait indefinitely for what may be a favourable coalition for us, because the damage for BEM is ongoing. It is difficult, but bypassing the politics surely must be the option now. Waiting for another election to come and go may still not achieve a decision on the concession. If we have no joy from the PM (that's if Baylan doesn't surprise us with good news), then I feel we will have to consider starting legal proceedings. Sooz, on the face of it. Kurt obviously has all the facts, but I'm naturally concerned about future fundraising at a lower sp each time and the cost to long-term shareholders.
Now in our ninth year of waiting confirms that we are in a political game, but we lose a little more of our chance of a decent return with each year that passes without the concession to progress our flagship business.
Only my thoughts, as ever.
