Why do you feel that exactly? The Government is surely the problem. Having no confidence in Baylan and co to deliver a concession decision is more understandable.

He's the Minister for Anti-Enterprise and Anti-Innovation. Made the role his own.

3card, good selection of what ifs? Kurt has been very quiet on the Kallak matter since our application was referred to UNESCO, so not sure why. I really like your last point about LKAB. However, as Aug has mentioned it's "Concession first!" which is what Kurt has stated prior, and having that is obviously the key to stronger negotiations. Maybe why the Government doesn't want us to have it. Lol.

I'm trusting that the next update will be juicy.

Aug, many thanks for your reply, much appreciated. Yes, we must trust that Kurt is prepared to upset the applecart and won't take his medicine. Baylan not chasing UNESCO up, bearing in mind not only that he knows of the KU findings, but also that we have previously held a meeting to discuss whether to take legal action, he is either incompetent or has a purposeful political biased agenda that is worth the maximum risk he is taking. Either way he isn't fulfilling his role to those on the receiving end.

Not sure why UNESCO is behaving in the same manner, but it may be policy for them to deal only with the Government, in which case they could at least tell Kurt as much, albeit that would mean giving a response to a third party. Lol.

I wouldn't say I'm enjoying this six month UNESCO cobblers. Maybe Kurt will indicate what comes next for us if the secrecy between the Government and UNESCO is maintained and we continue to be given no information from either of them.

Good points, and obviously we shareholders are feeling the brunt of everything that both is and isn't happening. Negotiations between which parties though Aug? We certainly don't know if Kurt is involved in any negotiations. We do know that UNESCO has not responded to his letters and also that Baylan has not yet replied to Sven. So, without the concession, and with the Government avenue closed, who is Kurt negotiating with? More likely that negotiations are perhaps occurring within the Government only, in my view.

Rubbish state of affairs and the contemptible treatment of BEM continues.

I'm not sure what he'll be like 3card. I know what you mean, he is sometimes a little nervy, but he does always pull out the information and clearly knows his stuff, which is better than being smooth, yet telling us nothing, knowing nothing. Lol.

I'm pretty fed up with this now, in all honesty. The Swedish Government is apparently purposefully preventing us from doing business in its country, because we happen to have a valuable asset of theirs in our portfolio. Makes one wonder.

Hi 3card. Just fuelling my own imagination with big ideas, some very probably quite ridiculous, far too big for my tiny peabrain. Lol. I am frustrated, like many I suppose, we don't know anything much that is actually occurring right now, so I'm definitely looking forward to Kurt's next update. Will you be asking any questions Prof and if so, what is your main one? Just curious as to what you make of the situation this year, now we are waiting on a third party in UNESCO.

My question would be along the lines of, if the Government felt it necessary to refer our application to UNESCO for its comments and Kurt did not feel it was a matter for them, why the difference in opinion and, what does he intend to do now that we have the KU report in our favour but still have no timescale for a decision?

Afternoon SJ. News on all projects required, and it can't be far off. Massive fundraise end of last year, newsflow has been awful really, considering Kurt mentioned hitting the ground running on the Vardar projects. Almost mid-year now. Lol. Not Kurt's fault UNESCO has been poor with BEM, and we can't hurry them along because we aren't the party asking for comments. Kurt has to press the Government to chase UNESCO, in my view. We have Sven's letter in the mix though, so we have to see how that pans out.

Cardo, that sounds bonkers. Surely we can't have changed to Kendrick and then back again to BMR Group PLC.

It's true 3card, the more subsidiaries, the thicker the smokescreen. It's difficult here especially, but that's also because we aren't listed any longer, Bozzer and now Bird telling us virtually nothing since. I guess most of us wrote this investment off when we lost the AIM status but it would be nice to see a little bit of justice delivered for shareholders. I hope the duffers who have brought us to this point somehow slip up and get their comeuppance.
