Hi Lb. What those letters and communications are though, is at least a factual record of what we've done, the part we've played in this farce of a process. Push comes to shove, it will all be in our favour if Kurt has to get the lawyers in. As will the KU report.

No, I certainly don't feel Kurt has gone backwards, more that Sweden has. But there is pressure on for Sweden not to become an investment black hole. Everything points to a Kallak approval. In my opinion. Once UNESCSO submits its comments, there are no places for Baylan left to hide. Unless he's willing to force us to take legal action. What a national embarrassment that would be. Surely the Boliden situation has opened a few eyes. Even his.

Enough isn't enough for me. I've been in this for nearly eleven years, Kurt has just updated our resource estimate and in the RNS today mentions the resource potentially supporting a 40 year mining life.

Sooz, I agree with you. All of Baylan's talk of next year etc does not and should not have any bearing on our application, which, as we know, has been in the melting pot since 2013. I do feel UNESCO will have to be pressed for its comments by the Government, but it's up to Kurt to press the Government to get on with it. The length of time UNESCO has had our case for comment is already inexcusable.

Baylan doesn't want to make a decision it really seems, but Kurt will have to find a way of making it impossible for him not to.

We are getting closer, I feel, but Baylan needs leaning on. Big Stef must be aware of what's occurring, so perhaps Kurt can put the PM under the spotlight instead, to embarrass the Swedes into finally playing fair.

The KU report needs to raise its head again perhaps.

I see. Baylan certainly has no shame or conscience, but he seems to be working hard for someone by stringing out our wait. Saying this and that then doing the opposite. Lol.

I'm sorry you appear to have fallen out with Sooz. I personally feel Kurt could do more now by involving the PM, because Baylan has not specified a timeline for UNESCO to respond with its comments. A bit naughty.

Only my thoughts. As for a pasting, not sure, but he could have some pressure applied from above. If the PM won't sort this out for us, then we may need to take legal action, following Boliden's lead, to get a result.

However Roller, we shareholders do not have all the details as to what exactly is happening in the background, and in the latest Proactive webinar Kurt mentioned that there was a lot going on. Newsflow this year wouldn't suggest that, so I guess we must be due some soon and hopefully of the meaty variety.

I missed what you said Roller, but the removal of your posts may not be personal. It's happened to me before when my comments were perfectly harmless, and some of the posts on the bb can't always be viewed and then suddenly they can. It's all a bit weird. I guess you could post the comments again, see what occurs.

Rune/Sooz, thanks for posting Baylo's reply. Makes me furious that he talks of quick and efficient administration, when the KU has already revealed the Government did nothing to progress our application for three years or more.

3card, you are possibly right. Lol. But it depends how Kurt worded the letter. It would surely have to reflect Baylan's unwillingness to engage and cooperate with BEM. That kind of thing. No joy from the Minister, no option but to move the matter on to the PM.

Yes and he has thick skin. Pressure on him from the PM might be different, so that's why I believe it to be an option for Kurt, writing to big Stef. Let's face it, we continue to be treated shoddily, now by UNESCO, who is playing its part in preventing us from progressing our business in Sweden. Understandable if our project was in any way potentially affecting the WHS status of Laponia, but it can't be due, to the distance of Kal away from the Lap boundary.

Blimey Roller. Surely enough is enough of this shambles. I don't see why Kurt can't demand a date for an outcome, KU supporting evidence as case in point. Now Baylan not asking UNESCO for its comments by any set date whatsoever is taking the biscuit.

Sooz, good on Matthius, but that question could do better I feel if he had addressed the matter straight to the PM and not to Baylan, who is the problem. Or at least appears to be.

Kurt has no power in the Riksdag but he could write to the PM.

Sooz, the KU report can surely be used by Kurt to write to the PM and demand a date for conclusion of this fiasco? We are having the shirts stripped off our backs here.

Lb, that's a fair point. If BrainTec has received a reply from UNESCO then Kurt should have. If he hasn't then that is a disgrace, but he then needs to do something about it. As he has said, and Aug has touched on previously, this isn't a matter for UNESCO and it has no business effectively delaying a mining project that is not situated anywhere near the boundary of the WHS.
